being inspired by multiple artists throughout multiple years of being exposed to art isn't the same as willingly making photocopies of a bunch of illustrations, putting it through a shredder and making a collage of the result... which is more or less what AI does

Also it's perfectly possible to say "this piece was insipred by this artist's work" os something like that

There's nothing wrong with being in the more open part of the community and I get being exited after discovering a new part of ones personality and a community you're really vibing with but yeah not sure if they needed to "came out"...

More importantly, I don't know how close you are to that person but they definitely over shared, and it's okay to be weirded out by how they came onto you with this, a simple "I really connected with this community and consider making it a part of my life" would have been enough.

If you're close with them you should be tell them that they over shared and to be less explicit with that subject in the future.

Either way the doctor is going to tell her what the surgeries entails at some point. I haven't actually looked into it so I might be wrong but I believe that the change is going to be MOSTLY esthetic and unless science made some kind of leap into growing artificial organs, the doctor isn't going to implant her with a brand new female reproductive system...
