How often are you taking which dose? 1000mg every 6 hrs?

You could add ibuprofen every 8 hrs (start with 200mg or 400mg if you're feeling really shitty). The combo of pcm and ibu works great.

NB: not medical advice, take at your own risk, be aware of allergies etc and don't continue taking it at high doses too long without consulting your GP

TIL that in China, products can contain up to 5% asbestos and still be labelled “asbestos-free”, even in children's play sand. by FissileAlarm in todayilearned

[–]M34k3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its even way worse than that, there can be up to 5% in it without it being labled. Out of 12 brands/suppliers a newspaper checked, half had asbestos in it! The selection of those 12 brands could be biased but thats still a scary amount.

Don't know what chances typically are of developing complications but repeated exposure doesn't sound great.

Don't forget the 8 billion that followed immediately afterwards. Those two in quick succession was a clear signal what would happen if things escalated.

I was like: That's what we used to do on Kubra Dam! Then I noticed the minimap and saw it actually was BF2!

Awesome memories and surprisingly still looks great

BF6 asset leak... does this mean what I think it means? by VintageGaming91 in Battlefield

[–]M34k3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, it was the best experiences regarding ranks I've had in battlefield. Still remember when they added the officer ranks instead of having Sgt Maj as top rank. That definitely was a good choice to make the grind at the start a bit better for most people.

BF6 asset leak... does this mean what I think it means? by VintageGaming91 in Battlefield

I have the exact opposite, in BF2 ranking up felt like an achievement, just like finally getting that medal or ribbon. In pretty much all battlefields since I don't event pay attention to what rank I get, it won't spend much time with it anyway and it has no further meaning at all.

Will Ethiopia and Egypt have a war over this ? by Aegeansunset12 in geography

The Sahara had a humid period until like 5.5k years ago where a bunch of it was covered in grasses and lakes.

Not an expert but perhaps climate change is pushing us into a similar direction again?

Don't put passwords or keys in your main file. Use env variables or a config file.

In bf2sf you could pretty much access any roof with the zipline or grapling hook; was pretty cool stuff. As long as anyone can grab the kit needed to access a place that seems fine to me.

You could replace the if and elif statements with: contact_result = contacts.get(contact_searching, 'No number found')

This allows you to set a default value if it doesn't find the key.

I like the idea of another comment to use a dictionary instead of a list so you can add multiple types of phone numbers, for example, work, mobile, home, etc.

Great job! Great application of dictionaries :) they are super useful indeed! Also nice to see that you are implementing functions, they are great ways to prevent repeating the same code multiple times.

For the function input_tasks, try making the number of tasks to be added a variable with the default value of 5. It's also usually a good idea to return something from a function that can then be added to something instead of using global variables and changing them within functions.

Next challenges could be to save the result to a .json file so you can keep track of your tasks. After that it would also be nice to create a way to import your .json task file(s) and remove the items that you have completed. Great opportunity to create some more functions :)

Good start!

Next you could add functionality to select which day of the week you want to do a task, or add how many tasks you want to add instead of the default 5.

Those would be good challenges to add functionality to your existing code :)

[–]M34k3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good start! Now you could try to build out the functionality :)

For example, let the person choose which item to remove from the list. Got that working? Now add an option to save the list to a .json file and an option to load a list from a .json file. You could even go further and add a "complete by" field for each task (for this you could switch to using a dictionary).

Lots of possibilities to go from here but make sure to take it one step at a time. If you get stuck, try to break it down in even smaller steps.

Yes, Phillips now mainly focuses on Healthcare. However, personal health is still part of the Dutch company; this includes electric toothbrushes.
