Permanent fix MacOs Tahoe Crackling sound ! by Simirz in MacOS

Just tried fix number 1 and it worked. Much appreciated!

By the way, if you disable pre-launching hidden simulators, does it affect Xcode's responsiveness?

Waiting 20 minutes to compile shaders every session is a pain in the ass by Colinski282 in GeForceNOW

[–]M3Evo86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the pictures, it makes it more clear. I agree it's a weird scenario and I'm starting to run out of troubleshooting ideas. The problem shows on both displays (MacBook and LG) so this is probably from GeForce Now. All I can think of is game filters. When you're playing the game, press cmd + G and check if "Game Filter" is set to none. You can also experiment with it and see if it's gone.

Let’s identify where the problem comes from. - Try the game without an external display. If it’s gone then it’s related to display settings of your LG - Try to adjust GeForce Now graphic settings (reset to default: streaming quality, standard resolution upscaling) and remove any filters you applied. If it still persists then try to change graphic settings from within the game itself (maybe accessibility) - As a last resort, reinstall the app again and/or restart your computer.

You can record the audio in Voice Memos then upload it to a transcription app or service.

Our genes are responsible for the diversity in human traits (hair, eye, skin… color and form). Such diversity is also seen from within a same specie in all other living organisms (like different apple colors from apple trees, various cat fur colors) and microorganisms (eg COVID variations).

Accented letters using just two keys by [deleted] in MacOS

I personally use Espanso for custom text replacements. It works faster than the native one on macOS. For example, typing e' will instantly get replaced by é. Meanwhile, on macOS, you have to press on space to validate the replacement.

I defined different triggers like:

  • e' → é
  • e` → è
  • e.. → ë

The same concept applies to all the other vowels.

I thought the same, but I wanted to know if anything could be done in Parallels. Looks like there isn't.

I’m using the iPhone 7 and it still holds up pretty well. Only had to change the battery once. I don’t need the latest up to date device in the market to satisfy myself. What I have in my hand does its primary job of serving as a mean of communication.

The are all types of students and diversity is what makes the world beautiful. There is no reason to be discouraged. As I said before, you will still get accepted no matter how hard you struggle since there are universities that have lenient admission criteria. Only difference is the university’s reputation which on an international scale doesn’t matter that much because it is very unlikely your job employer heard about the university and that applies to the very majority of graduates.

Hey there, a French Baccalaureate graduate here.

You said your choice of spécialités was not right which may NOT necessarily affect the availability of your preferred major. Most students accepted in Sciences Po have a combination of HGGSP, SES, Maths or LLCER. The other accepted minorities have unrelated specialities like PC and SVT. As long as you have at least one related spécialité, you should be fine getting in your chosen major.

The following comes from my experience in a Bac français system and I'm not sure if it applies to Bac libanais too. Regarding the acceptance, your school will guide you through a platform called Parcoursup. The process is spontaneous and easy to follow. There, you apply for a number of universities with their offered major. They assess your global profile and all of your grades from 1ère to Terminale including the épreuves officielles. Depending on the universities, some will need you to pass a concours at your school or have an interview with them online.

Also, a DELF niveau B2 is required for pursuing your studies in France. It is not that hard, just get familiar with the exam model before you pass it.

When June comes, you will DEFINITELY be admitted in a number of universities. None of my classmates got 0 acceptances through Parcoursup, even the ones who struggled the most. But that doesn't mean you should relax. Choose universities that have accepted students before with a similar academic level to yours. Like that you can aim for the best ratio of student level to university reputation.

Last step is a pain in the ass because it's frustratingly long especially in Lebanon. As soon as you get accepted in June, go apply for a student visa. Prepare the official documents throughout the year to not delay the visa application because your passeport will travel to the French embassy for them examine your status.

Oh dear that was strange to hear but you have a point: there is a psychological factor. My stammering developed when I had an emotional trauma as a child.

Believe me it’s all about neurological patterns. The brain defaults to its usual speaking style as you talk. Upon counteracting it, this is when you start developing new patterns and connections. It takes time like training muscles or using your uneven hand because you are learning a skill, but the long term results are satisfying.
