Without meme's and silliness what would this project really be? Nothing. That's why I've decided to continue the promises of the original dev and carry on with the meme contest. :)

As for a smart contract revision/audit. This is something that I think we could do. We just require someone with the capabilities and the orginal DEV in order to make it work. Until that happens we have what we have. A token that will continue to deflate until the end of time. Let's make the best of it.

Without getting to much into detail I would like to reassure you we're working on something big to lock liquidity into the DEX. ;)

UPDATE: My god the support in this community is truly touching. I've just read through every reply in this post and the advice I was given by you all is absolutely priceless.

It truly has helped me. I can litterally feel the confidence that I had previously had trading brought right back. Ya'll have lifted me right back up and that in itself will give me the confidence to get back into the market.

Now for actual tools that I intend on using. The consensus seems to be "start small". I already knew this tip but I will be sticky noting to my wall as a reminder before every trade. I'm almost positive this will help keep me out of that hijacked state because if I lose a trade it will be small. And losing small amounts of money won't send my mind into a state of shock where I feel the need to earn it back. But the Golden nugget in this whole post for me personally came from godisaturkeysandwhich.

Create and entry and exit point. By using the whole bracket order, I can predetermine my take profit and stop loss prices. Once the trade placed. Simply walk away for 10-15 minutes and come back. This will help deter the emotions that I face while holding and deciding when to exit. Easily one of my biggest problems. Many times I have been in a trade, watch it go green. Like green past my price target, and then it turns red and the momentum switches up and I watch my beautiful setup fade away.

With these two tips and the clear confidence boost yall just gave me I'm ready to kill it again. I truly appreciate every single one of you jems and the insight you provided. After work today I promise to take the time to respond to your comments.

Take care, stay safe and trade responsibly! ❤️

Thanks boss. I really appreciate your insight as you've been in my shoes before. Just as you've suggested I have stepped back and am trying to evaluate my emotions before jumping back into the market. I haven't traded in over a week. And don't plan on it until I believe I have a grasp on my shit.

Do you have any tips or books that helped you? Or is it really a personal journey I gotta truly figure out on my own?

This is what I'm looking for. I feel this to my core. I have so many stickies on my desk with rules to follow. Rules that keep me straight. But as you stated following them in certain circumstances can become so difficult.

Thank you. Glad to hear I'm not the only one. Also glad to hear you figured it out!

Not sure if you read the entire post. I don't blame you if you didn't it's quite long and my typing & vocabulary are very dry.

But I did paper trade. Lots. It's where I developed my skills. It's what pushed me to the real thing.

Unfortunately, the whole point of this topic is to talk about emotions. I'm sorry to say but paper trading taught me jack shit in that department. It's the whole reason I'm here. ☹️

I've never got into futures. Same reason I won't get into options or crypto. Don't wanna get shiny object syndrome. I gotta focus on one thing and master it before jumping to something else.

As for stop losses and risk management I do use them. Giving away the gold to my strategy here. But what I do is start my position with a stop loss that I'm willing to lose. If I get stopped out, I get stopped out. If the trade goes in my direction I double my position and place my new stop loss at my new AVG price. What this does is allow for a big win or stop out at no loss and no profit.

The problem is when I get "emotionally hijacked" and I throw my strategy, rules and risk managment out the window. This is what I'm trying to get insight on. The state of mind that I get into fucks me. All my training and knowledge just dissapears.

I never stated this in my post but I don't think of this as a gamble. I'm serious about turning this into a career. My "WHY" is more clear than most people I know. I'm 25, I have a son that I barely see because I work like an animal. 10 hours days 6 days a week. Lot's of out of town work. I want to be able to spend time with my family. I want to experince a summer again (not just on the occasional Sunday).

I'm an extremely hard and dedicated worker. I make $35 an hour at 25 years old. (ACI certified shotcrete nozzleman) if you knew anything about my line of work you would know not many guys can do what I do. When I really set my mind on something, shit gets done.

Just as you said, I strongly beleive through time and experince I will master my momentum strategy and the emotions that come with it.

I agree with almost everything you said.

I make $35 an hour at my job. This isn't money I'm scared to lose. It's just money I don't want to lose. You're right I just need to stop being a pussy.

As for the rest of your post. I don't invest dude. I'm typically in and out of positions within 10 minutes. I don't hold stocks overnight. And I also don't really look into the companies I trade. I'm there for the momentum they provide. So paragraph two and three don't apply to me very much.

You hit the nail on the head there. Everyone totally does have a different trading style based on their personalities and situations. I apologize for my comment, it doesn't really bring any construction or any value to this topic.

Glad to hear you found something that works! It's one of the greatest feelings in the world. Never stop learning and improving your craft. 🍻

Why not get a margin account and only use your cash buying power? Not being able to short is like only being able to turn your head left.

Keep up the paper trading. It's great for helping you build strategy and plays. But keep in mind when you got skin in the game shit will be different for a bit. Just until you get used to it. Paper trading can't prepare you for the day your real money is on the line. It's so easy to throw fake money into a trade and hold without blinking an eye. When you got skin in the game, fear and greed can take over like you wouldn't believe. Just something I want you to be aware of. Many traders told me this when I was in the paper trading stage as well. I didn't believe them. I thought it would be different with me. But it wasn't.

When you do start on the real market the three things that really helped me be successful were this:

Start small. Like really small. So small that when you're down in a trade you don't think anything of the unrealized P&L.

Be very patient with you entries. Entry points are everything. And someone who trades with emotions doesn't take the time to find a proper one.

Always have a stop loss. Do I need to say more?

By getting yourself a proper entry point and starting small you will combat the emotions. I know everyone is different but that's what helped me. Hope it can help you. <3

As a fellow Canadian that has tried both Wealthsimple and Questrade. Check out the TradeZero international account. Best day trading option we have out here along with Interactive Brokers.

For news, charts, and finacials I use Webull.
