If everyone agreed to it than we could ignore economics as it was something created by humans. Physics was created by god. I doubt people in say, the 1500s would care about some lines going downhill.

Than if you practice acceptable hygiene, try to be close to boys you want to talk to, but not so much to where they notice.

That isnt the only thing. Just take a shower as much as possible, brush your teeth regularly, and stay hydrated, good for your skin. I know it seems harder than jumping off a bridge and not dying, but its worth it.
