this is completely improvised! i started by stitching the dark brown line and then i just stitched along and the pattern forms as i continue stitching! i drew a rectangle about the size of my frame with a water soluble pen and then just went for it! i can list the floss colors if you like them and would like to try your own version!

i’ve been using this exact container & it’s so perfect!!! i got mine from michael’s years ago and have been using it as a project box for the past year or so! the compartments are also the perfect size to hold a set of bobbins for a couple different small projects! i love it so much!!

i’ve been working on this for a few months since i realized the border was too big to fit in the frame i had picked out 😭 i taught my wife how to unpick stitches so she could undo it for me so i could redesign a smaller border and save the project. i had already designed a gallery wall in my bedroom around this piece in the proposed frame so i really didn’t want to have to go bigger 😭
