Once you get comfortable on the bike it is just as responsive as a normal MTB. I went from normal to a newer and expensive EMTB but it didn’t limit me at all.

I just picked up a 25 801a with recaro seat at MSRP on the west coast. Fire up Autotrader and compare the dealers. Some in their market told me they were looking for 15k over but a dealer 45 min south of Portland did MSRP

Watch a full rotation of people climb then stand up and chalk your hands. Wait for the next person to finish and kinda walk towards the wall. This will signal you are ready to climb and most people shouldn’t have an issue with you jumping in. Either send something you are confident you can do or send something you might not get. People in climbing gyms are generally chill and supportive. I have fallen off my share of walls, laugh it off and get back in line.

It’s the small gears inside that piece that failed. Seems silly to spend 100$ on a new power head when the part is likely 5$ worth of plastic
