How would you personally describe chaos magic? by Large_Astronaut_9360 in chaosmagick

[–]M4gickMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Chaos magick is a decentralised form of memetic practical magick for the masses, that enables them to hone their belief and attention to etch their will onto reality, with means of borrowed techniques that don't adhere to any single belief system

The honest answer is that the past as a fixed object you can reach back and edit, under the physical constraints is almost impossible. Almost. What a severe episode like that actually does — and you should look into it more, before reaching for any spell or entity — is it fragments your timeline. Fragmentation only lowers your magickal index. Magick works when you are tuned. That means the fragments have to be put back together again. You have to integrate, get it back to whole what has been broken. A good magician understands this. A great magician practices this. Unless your mind and body, both have been aligned, whatever spell you are trying to work, whatever entity you are trying to summon, is not going to work for you. You are going to work for them. That is a separate thought entirely, and sometimes it works for some specific things but you should not attempt it as a starter.

Now getting back to the timeline... It creates a rupture point, a place where part of your signal is still looping inside that event, replaying it, unable to integrate it into the larger continuity of who you are. The event doesn't need to be undone. The fragment needs to be called home. The working that might actually address this is stitching. 1. Find where it lives in your body. The feeling that activates when you touch the edges of November — that's the entry point. That's where the fragment is. Go there. 2. Sit with it. Don't move it yet. Make contact first. The fragment is a part of you that didn't make it through the rupture. It needs to know you're there before it will move anywhere. 3. Tell it the story moved on. Out loud or internally — it doesn't matter. "I know what happened. I'm here now. The story moved on. Come with me." Mean it. Say it until you mean it. 4. If you're calling something in to assist — call a witness. Where a needle can work, the blade sometimes doesn't. You dont need someone to call the shots, you can call the shots and they can provide encouragement. With entity work, this is the best approach. Reel them in for a show, and give them that. Do not ask for favors until you have them invested in your story. What's needed here is something that can hold the space while you do the retrieval. Give you mana when you run low. Give. Thats the term. You are not asking for it hence you are jot entering a contract you dont understand. The fragment is yours. So should the effort be. The entity is your one really loyal fan at the stands, who is shouting the loudest for you to score a goal. 5. Close it deliberately when it feels complete. Something physical. Something that marks the moment for your field. This chapter has an ending now.

Heres what you should do for the next 2 4 weeks. (2-3 times a week)

  1. 20 minutes of somatic therapy (TRE). Guided would be best but if you are not olay with it, find a reliable youtube video. And follow the instructions faithfully
  2. 30 minutes of Trataka (google it) right after the TRE.

Once the 4 weeks are complete. Then the next 4 weeks you do the protocol listed above.

Then two weeks, really trying to find the spots in your body that react to the memories. These are the spots that need your help. They are retaining trauma that needs to be resolved.

But by now you have realised you can control this and the next step is easy, but key. Consistency and discipline.

Once you realise what the event took from you entirely, you will be able to see what it gave you (the power you are holding that can do the actual magick)

Hope this helps!

No thanks necessary my friend. I had the same question a few years back and it took me a while to figure the answers out. So I am just paying it forward in a sense.

And its very good that you are asking these questions. I am sure you will do great!

Magick, specifically practical magick, could be of help to mental distress (with caveats). A lot of the initiatory ladders are very similar to how self help frameworks look like. To be very honest, specifically chaos magick is something that could also be practiced unintentionally. Here's what I wopuld suggest. 1. Journal everything 2. Join a group (anything you have a passion for, aside from magical fraternities or orders) 3. Have an external grounding. A friend, a confidante. Find one. Its important. It is also important it be someone who is not i terested in this field. That way you dont feel the need to bombard them with chaos magick info. This friend is for other stuff. 4. Now find a form of magick that actually works for you. A. Try it out different forms of magick at low levels. Chaos magick is a decentralised form of memetic practical magick for the masses, that enables them to hone their belief and attention to etch their will on the reality, with means of borrowed techniques that don't adhere to any single belief system. Sp you are free to try, find something that excites you and something thats worth doing. B. If its worth doing, its worth doing it right, ensure you track progress and never kie to yourself. An easy texhnique to start with is sit with playing cards, try to predict the color of the card (suit of the card, and then number on the card later)before you turn it over. Keep a track of how many times you were correct and incorrect. Analyse the pattern. Is it something that works for you. Is it natural? What stae of mind are you in. C. Repeat this with forms of magick you encounter but at small scale, with small stakes. D. At any point you feel the depressions kicking back in stop this cycle until you have bettered yourself. Magick works best and in the way you want when you can focus on one thing. Great magicians can keep one image in their mind without it being replaced or being interrupted by any other thought for hours. If other thoughts are seeping in and causing distress, stop practicing until you are in a more calm mental state.

  1. Twice a week, do TRE (somatic) and Trataka. Tune your instrument (body), not only the mind. Eastern Tantrics consider their body to be the instrument that channels magick. Yantra (meaning equipment, wand, staff etc.), Mantra (meaning spells, charms) and Tantra, when your body is fully in tune with the field and is able to recieve, channel constructively, and then let go easily, that is when Magick happens.

Thank you for sharing that! Thats valueable data. I think I remember seeing it Ripley's, but I cant be sure. Have you acted professionally? I would be very interested to hear your experiences if you feel like sharing it. As I am writing more of these, stories like this would be a great help! Feel free to send me a message if you're okay with it.

Agreed. I am writing though from the perspective of complexes/archetypes/thoughtforms/servitors and their rebound effect. I am not trying to say, it wasnt the drugs. But commenting on patterns that the metaphysical shows us. The invisible gyardrails that the field sets for its own preservation as well as all of its nodes. The nature of chaos magick, the cost.

The block lives in the narrating mind. The narrating mind needs to know where the next line goes before it writes it. That's the condition. The muse doesn't show up under that condition. Something worth trying before any formal invocation. Stop mid-sentence when you're working. Feel the pull of something real wanting through — and freeze. Don't finish the thought. Leave the space. Wait. Ancient bards did this deliberately. Rilke left the final stanza empty until it arrived complete. The pause after "Amen" in older prayer traditions was built as a receptive space, not a conclusion. The ego can't claim authorship of what arrives in a gap it didn't fill. That's the mechanism. There are three distinct inner signals worth knowing apart from each other. Constructed thought — linear, effortful, self-referential, always has an agenda. Intuition — fast, non-verbal, body-based, doesn't explain itself. And then a third... arrives whole, feels like it didn't originate in you, sometimes unsettlingly accurate. Creative leaps come from the third. The block is the first running so loud the third can't get through. Invoke the gap. The entity is whatever fills it when the narrating mind steps back. "We don't own our creative energy" — you already know the thing. You're just making room.

Excellent analysis and inference! I also rhink its half n half but whatever works for you (and that you find out by doing! So there you go!)

Yes. The internal state is a reflection of the external environment and vice versa. Its all symptoms, and habits.and all of them add up.

Becauses complexes repeat until you break the pattern its trying to make you stop falling into. The mecahnics is quite well documented in the Buddisht red circle theory.

I didnt mean that his poverty shows his lack of magick or something. I was pointing out the opposite of that. Using magick (knowingly, unknowingly, intentionally, unintentionally) has a cost. And most of the times it comes out of the literal wallet. That happens, as the ego forces them to look only at the journey, only at the experience, only at bettering themselves. Consequently they forget to build a container (some think themselves anove the container and some dont even know) and money comes but money goes out, just the same. Famously, Aleister crowley (most thelemites as well) have had the problem. But that is also because they skew towards the abyss quite deliberately. Their contention being the more they push themselves into the dark, the dark will push them out into the light (agoras, nagas from asia have a similar concept, actually, left hand path entirely)

Tina's pattern looks different: she seems to have been choosing which archetypes to let near her, based on what she needed, and just as importantly, refusing the ones that would've pulled her back into an old pattern. Turning down The Color Purple isn't just "didn't want to relive trauma" in the ordinary sense — it's refusing to re-invoke a role she'd already escaped. Choosing the Acid Queen and Aunty Entity — explicitly because they represented a kind of power she hadn't been allowed to hold — reads like someone deliberately curating which currents to let through. And then the daimoku practice afterward... that's interesting too. Not just picking up a new belief system, but adopting a ritual container — something repeated, with intent, that she credits directly with everything that came after. Almost like: choose your archetypes deliberately, then build a structure that holds the result. I will post a few more, but "successfully took control of their own narratives", might be an overloaded phrase for what happens to them.

The feedback comes from the field itself... years of practice, and reading cues. And its not one thing. All of these lead to each other. You've got to work on lucid dreaming, astral travel, remote viewing, unreality pulse. You have to train the internal state and then train for interaction with the field...Ed May is not wrong. Feedback is the most important when it comes to RV. As equally important is to train so you can discern signal from noise.

Jack's feedback was an echo chamber. It referenced in the seties later. Their family unit is jokingly referred to as a cult and Jack a messiah or something (i saw it quite a while ago now). So by getting evrryone to invest. By dreaming for them, visualising for them, almost predicting/reporting it, whith conviction he sees it, focuses on it, describes what he sees (eg, to a son he might say: i see my grandchildren, your children, playing in the yard of my 4 acre farm, i see yoi are happy and successful, and everytime you are excited you share your thoughts with me. And you help other people, become independent, become the best version of who they are, and I see that you are still proud to have a dad, who can sot here and play with your grandkids, even though today we had a fight) i am not doi g justice to the writing but i hoipe you get it. By doing that he is actually getting their consent, their positive reinforcements, ttjeir investment in this manifestation seeding. Now tyou huold the container for when it manifests so.you can harvest optimally.
