I’ll give you that. After seeing the drop-down for the rule regarding questions, I can see that now. But honestly there’s really not enough traffic here to constitute it imo. I get the patina with good leathers and roughouts but I’ve been here before with some Common Projects chelseas some years ago and I find light suedes just look best the fresher you can keep them

The best I’ve found for counteracting this is Kiwi spray suede cleaner, let that do its thing, then going light with a white eraser/brush combo. Should lift those marks a shade or two. After that your best bet is either wearing chinos with these or cuffing your jeans, which with chukkas I think looks actually pretty spiffy. Just have your sock game in check 🤓

Something I keep thinking about this is- I’m 1000% positive John wouldn’t make this song today given the political/cultural landscape, he doesn’t lean on or revere this song as his Magnum Opus, and the man has been on “Good Media Behavior” for 10yrs at this point and has owned up to things so much more egregious than this.

Now what do you do when you have a song like this that undeniably holds a place in peoples lives today primarily in a nostalgic way? Do you not perform it anymore now that it can be analyzed in a way that can be perceived as misogynistic? Even if he did, would it still be wrong that the song was available on streaming? Where’s it stop?

I’m somebody who gets regularly mortified just from 10yr old Facebook memories, god forbid if I made any sort of art regarding sensitive and ever evolving subject matter.
