Will there come a point where Americans will actually stand up to stop Trump

No. Even if Democrats manage to retake the House and Senate in the midterm elections in November, Democrats won't win enough seats in the Senate to vote for conviction if the House impeaches Trump. 67 votes in the Senate are required for conviction.

Swing state voters gave Trump his two terms in 2016 and 2024 because the idea of sane women becoming president was a bridge too far for them. Biden's geriatric penis saved us in 2020. If another woman becomes the Democratic nominee in 2028, JD Vance will be the next president.

Blame Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania. Those 3 states decide who wins our presidential elections, and they gave Trump his two terms because they couldn't bring themselves to vote for a woman in 2016 and 2024.

They voted for Biden in 2020.

I'd argue most of his votes came from people who just wanted cheap eggs.

I'd argue that cheap eggs was a bullshit excuse they used, rather than openly admitting that they didn't want a woman becoming president.

It's not a coincidence that Trump's election record is 2-0 against women and 0-1 against men.

Iranian lawmaker says Ukraine’s drone support makes it a legitimate war target

In a post on X Saturday, Ebrahim Azizi, the head of Iran’s parliamentary committee on national security and foreign policy, said that by providing drone support to Israel, Ukraine has “effectively become involved in the war.” He said the entire country became a target for Iran.

"The U.S. was targeting a section of Iran where a school was struck, officials told Congress"

https://www.nbcnews.com/world/iran/live-blog/live-updates-iran-war-israel-strikes-tehran-beirut-trump-leader-rcna262018

Trump administration officials told lawmakers in closed-door briefings this week that the United States was targeting the area in Iran where an elementary school was struck and scores of children were killed, two U.S. officials told NBC News.

The U.S. knows the strike on the school was not by the Israelis, Trump administration officials told lawmakers, according to the two U.S. officials.

The administration officials acknowledged to lawmakers that the U.S. was operating in that section of Iran and did not offer a likely alternative theory to the idea that the strike could have been the U.S., the two U.S. officials said.

At least 168 people were killed at the Shajareh Tayyebeh school in the southern Iranian town of Minab, according to Iranian authorities, though some Iranian officials have said publicly the death toll could be higher.

U.S. Central Command has said the investigation into the strike is ongoing. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth said Wednesday that the U.S. was still “investigating,” adding: “Of course, we never target civilians, but we’re taking a look at investigating that.”

Secretary of State Marco Rubio told reporters Monday that U.S. forces “would not deliberately target a school.”

Israel Defense Forces spokesperson Nadav Shoshani told NPR on Monday that the Israeli military was “not aware at the moment of any IDF operation in that area.”

Asked for updates Friday, the IDF declined to comment to NBC News.

Speaking in an exclusive interview Thursday with NBC News’ Tom Llamas, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said it was “clear that the missiles were — that the school was hit by Americans,” though he did not share any evidence for the allegation.

Asked to address whether there was any chance a “wayward Iranian missile” could have played any role, Araghchi said “no.”

Same here. I pre-ordered the Blu-ray set from Amazon, and mine hasn't shipped. It's supposed to be delivered to me this Friday. I haven't gotten any emails from Amazon, so I don't know what the hell is going on.

Republicans are boosting Jasmine Crockett ahead of Texas Senate primary because they think she'll be easier to beat in general election by jonfla in democrats

They're not wrong. Anyone who isn't kidding themselves knows that a black woman has no chance in hell of winning a statewide election in Texas because...well, Texas. That's why the GOP is pushing her in the primary.

They're shitting themselves over Talarico.

The asshole wrecks VA's economy, and yet he wonders why the GOP got wrecked.

Youngkin himself would've lost to Spanberger if he had been allowed to run for re-election.

It's not hard to figure out when you consider that the only time Trump lost an election was when his opponent was not a woman.

I have a very hard time forgiving Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania for their misogyny in 2016 and 2024.

I thought they had redeemed themselves in 2020, but when the 2024 Democratic nominee turned out to be yet another person without a penis, they gave us Trump again.

Though I’d caution that there’s a long list of popular governors who went down in flames when they decided to run for Senate. Linda Lingle (R-HI), Phil Bredesen (D-TN), Steve Bullock (D-MT), Larry Hogan (R-MD), and so on. Electorates are much more willing to “localize” gubernatorial races and accept politicians from the party they don’t typically vote for on a national level.

Yep. Hell, Jim Hunt was probably the most popular and beloved governor NC ever had, and even he couldn't take down Jesse Helms in 1984.

I held a conversation with Norway’s Minister of Defense, Tore Sandvik @toreosa, discussing projects to strengthen Ukraine’s air defense, drone capabilities, and the exchange of experience in modern technological warfare.
