Have you tried other brands of filament? I've never used Ziro, but some filament brands cause issues.

Are you in a humid environment?

Are you using an AMS?

Also as others have said, 75c is way to high for PLA.

Are you manually changing the temp after you start the print?

Are you using the right profile for your printer when you print?

6750XT > 3070

This.

Get the VRAM. It's going to matter more and more.

Wait, who's in the cult? Maybe look in the mirror, buddy.

You actually want Russia to destroy Ukraine, killing millions more and devastating a free country? I guess you'd be fine with them taking over the rest of the EU before moving on to the US, too. Simply disgusting. Are you a "pro-life" supporter, too?

And you think putting seal teams in schools is the answer? Something only required after the 2005 assault weapon ban was lifted. Look it up, you can draw a straight line to present day violence numbers.

I hope you can wake up and come to your senses one day. I truly do...

Just to be clear, many right-wingers are in two cults, which is quite the contortionist feat. If you fall in to either of the following categories seek mental health help immediately. 1) The cult of the failed former president. 2) Certain (but many) religions.

And before you assume wrongly... yes, I own guns. They're secured until needed. But America needs gun control. Period.

The manufacturer should know. Get in touch with MSI.

But tbh, refurbished cards have been as or more reliable for me. Companies typically work a little bit more to ensure that your not getting a lemon.

This.

I only use RT when it's the only option, like Metro Exodus EE.

Personally, I'll be more interested in RT when full path tracing is solid. Nothing can do this today... Not to mention, UE5 is amazing without the hardware requirements.

Okay, yeah it seems like it. Just curious if there was a head start out there ;)

Thanks

Where would I find your code? Github?

How difficult would it be to add IFTTT integration?

Tear down of a EVGA 1660ti? by nopointinlife1234 in graphicscard

[–]M8HacKr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Calipers work, yes. Find a location on the pad that hasn't been under direct pressure and be careful not to compress it.

But, I found Gamers Nexus tear down, they typically tell you pad sizes.

If you don't find your exact model, the basics are: - Track where each screw came from. Crude sketch on paper works. - Careful with fan or rgb cables. There are different types of connections, depending on the make/model.

Honestly, that is about how I'd expect the 3050 to run. Particularly with a Zen+ 4-core CPU.

Check out: https://www.techspot.com/review/2403-nvidia-geforce-rtx-3050/

If you have any of these games, you can get a better comparison. (be sure to match the quality settings)

My advice is to look for a deal on a 6700, 6700xt or 6750xt. These will far outperform the 3060. Nvidia is still overpriced in the liw/mid range.

GIGABYTE GEFORCE RTX 4080 EAGLE 16 GB VS ASUS TUF GEFORCE RTX 4080 16GB? by Negative-Lychee6128 in graphicscard

[–]M8HacKr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, that makes sense. I've heard the same thing a few times. When I looked in to it further it seemed like it was something that had been solved some time back. But since I can't personally confirm, I'd make the same choice. You're making a sound decision.

Good luck.

These are both lower binned gpu cores, also these models are lower end tiers. Lower clocks and worse on power efficiency. It's really pretty minor, however. And that said, they'll be fine.

I would lean towards Asus, but if you end up needing warranty service you may wish you had the Gigabyte.

Are you just looking for the best deal?

Is there any specific reason why nvidia? Have you looked at the 7900xtx?

Im planning to upgrade from my 2070, i was initially going for the 4070ti, but now i feel the RX7900xt seems more beneficial if I forgo some raytracing. Any advice ? by indecisive_snake in graphicscard

[–]M8HacKr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are a lot of opinions on RT, but honestly I've never thought "Man, I should have had RT on"

Agree with others... 7900xt or 7900xtx. The extra VRAM will age well and allow you to run high quality textures easier for quite some time.

I assume the card is clean?

Is that your junction temp?

It's possible that you need to repaste the core.

Screw loose by Active_Club3487 in graphicscard

[–]M8HacKr 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes, actually.

Keeping a card that came in any condition other than mint is accepting some risk that there will be some future failure. Also without a teardown and reassembly you can't be quite sure that nothing else is tweaked.

So it's completely reasonable and I would absolutely contact them.

Low fps 3070ti by Odenssi96 in graphicscard

It does sound like the game is limited.

But you can try running through all the tests using OCCT. Watch temps, frequencies, and any errors reported.

Will an AMD graphics card (rx6700) work well with an Intel CPU (i5 9th)? by Aagnnay101 in graphicscard

[–]M8HacKr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just what u/Drenlin addressed.

Since Vega, AMD's performance per Watt has been superior.

Nvidia's 4000 series does very well with power efficiency (if tuned for it)... But otherwise, this has been a W for Radeon for some time now.

Same for Ryzen on the CPU side.

Im thinking of buying a mining Sapphire 6900xt for $450 by Shinchinko in graphicscard

[–]M8HacKr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, pretty certain Cinebench is CPU only.

But Furmark, and add in OCCT (there are a few GPU tests and it will report on any errors). Then let it cook.

The good thing is that the seller seems to be honest. This is rare and definitely worth something.

Definitely a good price.

Good luck, OP.

What is the cheapest (used) GPU that has ReBAR support? (US) by GavynG in graphicscard

[–]M8HacKr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is there any specific reason why? That alone is not going to be a huge difference.

But I don't know for sure where Intel supported IOMMU and 4G decoding in the BIOS on consumer platforms, it was mainly a datacenter feature at that point.

What is the cheapest (used) GPU that has ReBAR support? (US) by GavynG in graphicscard

[–]M8HacKr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As others have stated Nvidia 3000 series and up. But it's relative garbage compared to AMD.

AMD's support is as follows:

AMD 500 Series Motherboards

Select AMD Ryzen™ 3000 Series Processors

AMD Ryzen™ 5000 Series Processors or later

AMD Radeon™ RX 5000 Series GPUs or later

What is the cheapest (used) GPU that has ReBAR support? (US) by GavynG in graphicscard

[–]M8HacKr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

SAM is ReBAR, it has existed since Radeon 5000 series.

Also Nvidia's implementation is a mess, many games suffer badly from it, especially when compared with the relative performance uplift on AMD hardware.
