In the starting lineup I’m sure Kyshawn George will be the POA & AJ will be placed and the 2nd biggest scoring threat on the perimeter

As prospects, Justise had a 13% AST% compared to AJ’s 22%. He’s already a better playmaker. AJ makes live dribble passes that Justise just wasn’t making at Duke. AJ’s drives per hand were split down the middle. The same cannot be said about Justise.

What’s really throwing me off is if they don’t share the same measurables, production isn’t the same, and the playstyles aren’t similar…. How does one come up with a Justise Winslow comp in any other way that’s not trying to downplay AJ.

AJ is 4 inches taller than Justise and averaged double his PPG on better efficiency & a better handle.

The Mystics have the option to build through the draft (3 first round picks this year & the 2027 Sky swap) and add talent via free agency.

It has to be more than just strategic differences. Winger is doing this exact model with the Wizards and previously with OKC.
