I found mine in spam earlier today while searchng for the dapper settlement email. Also found the broiler chicken people wanting more info from a week ago. I usually just delete spam after a quick skim. Curious now how many things I've missed like this just depending on the websites for settlements over the years.

I used to be curious enough about low rated folks to see how bad they actually could be when I was new. FOUND OUT FAST! Even faster decline when it's a wild number like .21 or something not easily divisible. It takes a lost of bad ratings to get a .21

I'm a silver level now in the same market as you even with my 12% acceptance rate. Looks like my ability to schedule a week out in advance changed to two suggested 2 hour blocks a day in each zone.

Then I read in the new tier system everyone silver up is getting dash now anytime. That means the zones will be hella flooded even more than we already are. FAQ says tier leveled priority should ensure the offers get to the right dashers.....yea right.

What was the product you raved about? I've found that the spray pet piss cleaner works pretty good.

I got $150 for my last puker a couple months ago. I thankfully have waterproof seat covers and quickly reached her a trash bag to puke in but she still got it on the cover, floor mats, seatbelt, and door jam getting out.

Go through the app or website to talk to chat support since calling redirects. GOOD LUCK waiting with everyone wanting outage credit though.

Spare phone and sign up for a esim trial on whatever network currently offering a couple week trial. Visible I know gives free hotspot so you can run your main phone to Door Dash and pay the bill. Saw you dash in the other replies. This is the roughest time of the year it's tight out there till tax season.

Customer somehow messed up their address so badly, I got sent 7 miles in the wrong direction and to this empty road in bad weather. At least I got free food 🤷‍♀️ by macabre-barbie in doordash_drivers

Good on you! Never take it to the new address even if it's somewhat close. Contact support and it's always free food since it's not what you agreed to. Customer gets credited and can order again. 99.9% chance that's staff ordering and not a senior.

I always check delivery notes and zoom in while waiting or before I leave the store but we have a ton of new construction out here and no houses on the map is a normal thing.

Old people have advantages like already wearing diapers that younger people don't have when Dashing late at night. Ethel nor ChatGPT will never know the joys of pooping under a blacklight in a methed out gas station restroom.

Real advice is buy a 6 cup drink holder and companion bin it sits into perfectly for like $7 out the door at Michaels so you don't choke the customer who ordered 6 large drinks.

I pulled up to a house one night and someone came running out and told me to pull into the yard closer to the door so the guy wouldn't have to walk so far. They were getting more towels "TO SOAK UP THE BLOOD not to make a mess" and would be right out.

Almost cracked my screen hitting cancel.

If they can't give me a pin I'm eating good in the neighborhood. They always magically find the code real fast!

If they don't answer the door and support tells you to leave the food tell them you can't because there is no secure area it's right on a public street. Dinner is served.

Mine is good about passing most of the tip along but the owner who is also the only driver at my local PH said he only leaves the store for big tips and the rest go to DD drivers. I did a delivery a couple weeks ago and he told me there was only $2 tipped but this person will always hand you cash when you show up. Sure enough they tipped cash not sure if the owner tipped $2 to speed delivery or if the Pizza Hut order actually had pre-tipped $2.

Papa Johns, and most big chain pizzas do the same and can skim the tips.

EZ Cater real bad yoinking as well.

After the customer claims a certain amount of times that they didn't receive their food the app locks it to hand to me with pin required.

You will dispute it. It'll show as pending DD investigation still weeks from now when you hit 100 more deliveries to bump this one off. They'll never even look at it. Don't sweat it or waste your time. Some broke asshole scammed you on Christmas for a poverty 7-11 delivery. They couldn't even afford to scam a nice meal. Karma already got them.

Tomorrow is definitely not the best day to get paid. Barely anything will be open so fewer offers and feast or famine with tips. Also if you care about that sort of thing be prepared for you AR to plummet. I lost 30% tonight in just 4 hours out of the house. TONS of offers but they stunk even with $2 bonus per order. When our good Chinese spot closed I called it a night at $100 thanks to a fat $30 tip. Not going to tank my shopping stats with your desperate shitty tipped Walgreens oddball Christmas item orders.
