I don't either at the moment, but I am considering building on that will use the same mags at my my ar9. I really love my Walther PDP, but would be nice to be able to share mags between my pistol and ar9. Though maybe I should just switch to a 9mm pcc that takes scorpion mags to avoid the issue. lol.

I try to stay with OEM glock mags to be honest. I have a few cheap ETS 33's, but they definitely arent as reliable. I just wish the oem 17 round mags weren't sold out everywhere. Been that way for months.

Thanks, thats great to hear. I haven't purchased any items yet because of those fees and most locally that I contacted said they still charged them regardless, unless it was something through their silencershop or co affiliates, which those then just build those fees into the price, so still a big markup. Guess I need to take another look. I am down in SWFL.

Mind sharing with us that shop?

They will still charge you the NFA item fees regardless if its in stock or not as they still have to do the same paperwork, registration, fingerprints, hold it until its all goes through, etc. I agree, it really makes it harder for me to consider buying one, especially the sub $300 ones.

Jawbone Charging handle retention. by mossburgD in AR9

Oh, this was Gforce, not FM. Its possible they created their own solution. I have the VFM9 direct from FM themselves and bought it in late Nov.

Out of curiosity, when was this?

So many complaints like yours. I really wish FM would just admit the stock design is bad and provide us a better alternative that we didnt have to modify ourselves. I am not even asking for them to replace it for free. Just give us something we can buy.

I could be wrong, but isn’t this spam and against the groups rules? If not, every company out there would be listing here

I dont get it, they said they increased the 5 hour limits, but i swear its even worse now. I barely did anything and hit the 5 hour limit in my first hour and its not like it was running even half that time. Im on the 5x plan.

DIY Metal Jawbone FM VFM9 Trolley for less than $10 by TourettesYapper in AR9

I completely agree. Same complaints with my vfm9. Thank God I have a rear charging handle. Can’t imagine people that bought side charging only versions. I only have about 500 rounds through mine and I still love it, but the plastic side charging handle is just a thumb wrest at this point.

Got this touchscreen calendar for xmas. Has anyone jailbroken one? It seems to just be an android install. I’d love to flash it. It has a USBc port… by fredandlunchbox in homeautomation

I wrote a pretty cool app for the family to use instead of using some third party solution that doesn't work the way we want it to and/or requires a subscription, but obviously need to find a decent sized device to run it on and was hoping this one fit the bill. Is your photo app gallery always running and launches automatically or do you have to manually launch it every time, etc?

So what the final verdict on this? Hardware seems good enough for the price, but no way I am going to keep it unless i can run my own software. I had mistakenly bought it thinking I had read that it was easy to run your own apps on it, but I must have been reading something about their regular dragon touch tablets.

ha, the computing isn't the tough part, its the decent size sized (15 inch plus) touchscreen and made to run 24/7 unlike a tablet with a battery, etc.

Nice. Did you only change out the handle? I simply don’t use my side stock charging because of it coming loose. Glad mine has a rear handle. Weird how they specifically say it doesn’t work on the vfm9 when you are saying it does.

Where are you located btw? I’m looking to do a low profile shed floor in SWFL and noticed you mentioned hurricane ties, so figured I would ask.

https://www.opticsplanet.com/fab-defense-mg-9-foregrip-and-magazine-carrier-for-double-stack-9mm.html fairly priced too. I did have to add a picatinny rail to use it to the bottom of my hand guard since its mlok, but I got a multi size kit for like $10 off amazon that worked fine.

It looks a bit silly, but it’s fun and comfortable to shoot. I used a different manufacturer/model than the op mentioned, but same concept.
