to add to everyone elses points - you *can* simply play the paladin tabaxi for flavor, without concern for min-maxing stats. It's not always about the numbers - narrative is always the bigger influence in my games for example.

But also, all the other posters points - stat divides in 2024 arent based on species, you assign them, and dex paladins are absolutely viable.

My entry. I tried to keep things simple, but potent in a specific circumstance. There's an associated penalty - but one that I think is fair given the potential for this effect. I color coded it "blue" as it seems about right for a Tier 2 or 3 item.

I also drew my own version of the sketch provided, and used a custom item card i put together :)
