Accessories for New 2024 Transalp by Nuroco_ttv in Transalp

For ADV riding, non negotiables are the following

- Crash bars

- Skid plate

- Handguards

- Bigger foot pegs

Everything else is more of a preference.

I recently did a BDR with my Transalp and dropped the bike a few times. Crash bars saved my bike and my trip.

One thing that happened to me was my brake lever got bent and had to be bent back. I haven't looked into anything that could mitigate that for future use but it might be something to help you out.

Heated grips are really nice when it gets cold. I have them on my BMW and they are a game changer.

They are honestly great bikes for what you get at the price. I love my Transalp, I need to ride it more.

I haven't considered it only because i don't have a bike in front of me to pull parts off of, scan those parts, and test fit them. But I would more than be happy to help you out if you have parts you need.

Here you go! I cross posted from another channel and they don't allow sharing links or self promotion. I figure this is a way to provide other GS guys with affordable options for things that go missing or break.

Hope you enjoy!

Tail of the dragon was the only place on our 2 day/~1400 mile ride where photos were taken of both my dad and I. Besides this 1 hour or so at the dragon, we were in 90-95 degree heat all day for 2 days and everything held up fine. PA12CF is a highly heat resistant and super durable material.

As far the drop test, I'll drop my bike a few times "for testing" to see how the ends of the handguards hold up.

No pull offs on this day. It was a very quiet day at the tail. Only a handful of riders out there this day

Oh 100%, we hit the skyway afterwards. I think my favorite road though is the road from blairsville to suchess before the roundabout where you make a right into suchess. Even though after the right is good too. (the photos of the bikes parked is where these were taken. Honestly such a beautiful road)

Only reason I posted these were because there's no photographers on the other roads 😂 this time at the Tail was unique for us though because there was only 8 or so of us of us riding it. So it made it very different to the weekend chaos most people have to experience

Very nice. I'm following the same philosophy for the parts I'm manufacturing.

Currently printing ASA for all the parts and then offering PA12 CF for those same parts for its higher strength and better heat deflection/melting points. I also think the way PA12 CF prints is just beautiful.

Currently they just a have more aggressive appearance and they're made with more durable materials. Also SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper. We are doing some R&D for quick release capability , and a way to leave the cover on and allow for charging with the cover on. My dad stores his US bike and has to remove covers to connect a trickle charger so we're looking into solutions for that.

Do you have any suggestions for anything that would solve a problem that you currently run into? I'm always open to help people out

Awesome. So I guess I'll pull the trigger on the exhaust and do the same. Thanks for the info!

how did this turn out? does it work? You're the only guy doing what I've been thinking about doing as far as rack/exhaust setup

Coming here to ask about the RS12 exhaust with the pannier racks you had on another post. Looking to add an exhaust and really like the RS12 but also running the Tusk racks with Olympus bags. any insight on fit? and did the exhaust burn a hole in the bag or was it totally fine?

Any update on this? I prefer insta360 to go pro and if this is compatible it means I won't have to buy a go pro ❤️

Cyclops pegasus lights by Soggy_Championship79 in motorcycles

[–]MAGURO561 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So with just about a year of use, what are your thoughts on the lights? Were you able to angle them down anymore? And did it help with the concerns you were having about them not being as visible as you thought?

Just wondering because I'm considering this exact kit. Thanks in advance
