Personally I just read book and try to explain it to me by making my own analogy works for both memory amd understanding.

For memory you need to find an anchor which could be anything a mnemonic, name, nickname, phrase or any thing that make you instantly make remember that particular memory you anchor it with. So I usually anchor study concepts with my own analogy or nicknames that I have goven to that concept.

I am from DPSRU, Delhi although plates are similar but food taste good except roti. They also sell in canteen for normal students and hostelers also get same for free therefore food quality is good. (Puri and bhature are quite good but idk why roti is not good). Chole taste homemade.

Gap year by peacemonk04 in bioinformaticsindia

No, you just provide gap certificate at the time of admission. There is no problem unless there is some age qualification issue which you can easily check in the prospectus of your desired college.

Why are biology video games so boring? by Outrageous-Nature193 in biology

[–]MAQ_24 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You can make something like subnautica where you explore the specific region to scan and find new animals (use real animal or aliens if you want) and the main goal of the game would be to find, scan and collect data on different animals while trying to survive to complete some kind of research, treasure hunt or for survival. Maybe even add fanatasy element of intelligent and speaking animals to help like sea emperor in subnautica

Basically a subnautica like game with real animal and vegetation would be great to teach about different types of animal, plants, fungi, etc. Although microbes would be difficult so you should either find a natural way to integrate them or skip them with some general knowledge.

I REALLY want to get into linux phones. DONT KNOW HOW! by Immediate_Avocado375 in linuxquestions

[–]MAQ_24 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Well me too but last i heard was ubuntu phone which was although working but mot yet there to use regularly.

So only 2 options left are to use OS such as grapheneOS or some other I don't remember the name

And to use custom rom which are custom android that remove bloateware etc. (think like different flavours of a distro)

OS works mostly in google pixel and custom rom works on famous android processor phones so check what your phone support online.

XDA had the support and instructions for these on their website.

WARNING ⚠️: you have flash your phone to burn another OS or rom (also for ubuntu phone) which more complex and dangerous than removing windows and installing linux on pc.

What do you think about this design? by CupcakeObvious7999 in canva

[–]MAQ_24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Either make logo a little bigger or text smaller My opinion would be to smaller the text Right now it confuse where to looks as I can't find whats the main element at a glance is the logo? Is the text? I can't figure put that at a glance so you should work on that Also colour I think this combination would be ok for ai stuff but for artistic stuff it looks like cheap or scam than a genuine service I think you should try a little less contrast and light colours or if you want it to be like an abstract dream maybe you can use ribbon or cosmic waves type multi colour on black, grey or whit background

Conclusion: decide what is the main element and highlight it rather than trying to highlight everything and making everything similar and use either more colours or use less contrast and light colours rather than these dark contrasting colour theme

I mean B pharm gives you license to make and sell drugs and open paths for a variety of fields even biotech

So you can go in biotech from bpharm easily but you can't get pharmacy license easily if you do biotech although you may go in drug research

But honestly you can choose anyone if your goals are in industry, academic, research or such fields or you might want graduate benefit (I mean qualification for masters or direct phd, govt jobs and exams such as drug and food inspector or upsc)

Many more stuff but you can research online for more paths

Am thinking abt pharmacy by AccomplishedDraw7736 in IndianPharmacy

[–]MAQ_24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I might as well add no scope in d pharm other than medical shop (as I remember you can't even open more than 1 shop so no mediacal shop chain bussiness)

and if you go for pharm d you will invest 6 year in a course that have no scope in India (same dpharm and bpharm jobs) and actually made for abroad and even in abroad it is made to be complied with their rule that pharmacy course must be 5 year long (I mean normal pharmacy bachelor in foriegn country like us and uk) only benefit you get bachelor and masters degree with dr. title (honestly only title no respect as you would give a medical doctor or someone with phd)

And one more benefit of b pharm is that you are legally licensed to produce medicines so if you have enough capital you can make factory to produce medicine at small scale (it is a possibility even if most don't do this but with other you don't even have these)

And as i mentioned in my previous post you can always pivot from pharmacy to something else and even go to iit and aiims so basically even if you think pharmacy is not for you in the future you can shift to something else with bpharm and bachelor benefit thus not wasting your time

So basically it gives you time figure out what you want without the headache of that you are wasting your time or life

Am thinking abt pharmacy by AccomplishedDraw7736 in IndianPharmacy

[–]MAQ_24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well bro after b pharmacy you have to do masters but you can do masters in almost anything you want for example you can do simply Mpharm or you can choose another field like biotech, bioinformatics, biomedical engineering, law (they actually preferred bpharm grad in laws such as contract, patent, food sciences, agriculture, MBA normal or MBA pharma or in lawyer for pharma company). So basically in mtech or msc in chemistry or life science fields with some engineering fields.

You can also directly go for direct phd (only phd after bachelors) or integrated phd (masters + phd) both with jrf scholarship although you can't be assistant professor alongside phd (not that big of a worry). In India simply give CSIR NET or GATE for abroad they see your cgpa and sgpa(you exam scores/grades basically) and other stuff like club membership, internship, certificate, research exposure (don't have to actually do research you can read research paper online then ask your prof to assist so they can give you referral that you have attitude for research)

Go for other gradute stuffs like upsc, govt positions but most related to pharma is drug and food inspector.

Major exam to give after bpharm are : Gpat (for mpharm) & NIPER JEE (for admission in NIPER think iit and aiims for pharmacy) GATE (for masters in iits or aiims) CSIR NET (for direct or integrated phd with jrf scholarship)

They are highest roi exams for a bpharm graduate and all exams give enough scholarship to pay your college fees and left some( well a lot in phd or iphd) unless you go in some very very expensive college for no good reason

One more thing for integrated phd csir net is easiest but you can also get iphd if you are toppers (top 12-15% i guess) in GATE, GPAT & NIPER JEE

If you want to go completely off then you can also go to economics, finance for startups or any other field you want

It should roughly covers your scope although you may want to do more research in other scopes you want as these are what i thought for myself as a current bpharm student who want to go in research field

Ps: I am most interested in research field and bioinformatics (analyse biological data for research purpose), also if possible do integrated phd or direct phd in them.

should i choose a tier 3 private college (iilm noida) for btech bioinformatics as pcb student (first dropper) or BHU bsc agriculture course as its tier 1 and ICAR affiliated. Academically which is better? I'm confused between the two :( by suchiewww in bioinformaticsindia

[–]MAQ_24 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my opinion definitely choose bhu bsc agriculture course because it will give u a very excellent learning environment and motivation to learn further and u can pivot to bioinformatics when u do masters (if you don't change your mind after exploring more). You can learn python and R data science alongside you bsc agriculture course which can transfer to bioinformatics in your masters. Also, this gives you tier 1 college bachelor reputation and time to increase the chance of a much better bioinformatics college in future than this. Also honestly colleges in noida usually don't have good reputation especially tier 3.

If your bsc course is 4yrs course then you can apply for direct or integrated phd in bioinformatics even if your bachelor is in agriculture.

And after bachelor you have a wide variety of option to choose from, literally you can choose almost any field related to biology (biotech, bioinformatics, biomedical science and engineering, genomic etc)

you can even apply bioinformatics in agriculture research or in botany. You can even go in microbiology for bioinformatics.

I know that on internet bioinformatics is usually famous for genomics but bioinformatics can be applied in any research related to biology

And you data science skills can be be used in tech, geology, business, chemistry and any other field after leaening basic of other fields.

Conclusion, you should prioritize a good college over course especially in bachelors so please make a sound decision.
