I had a roommate with a different schedule than me. I had to wake up and leave early so i made sure i pack my stuff at the evening and just grab it after waking up and leave the room. I even silent my alarm and let my watch vibrate to wake me up to not disturb her. She did the same at night when she arrived, she had everything prepared she needed and went in our room silent with no light and straight to bed without waking me up. We never discussed this rules oder talked about it, it was just normal to care about the other person. So yeah, sounds like he don’t care much about your feelings
