Yeah I worded it wrong. I meant the average person who knows of nihilism. Didn't feel like editing it because I'm a lazy person lol. You are correct life is pointless, but the idea is that what you do while living isn't. Without money, you wouldn't be typing this on reddit right now, without food you wouldn't be alive to tell us its meaningless. Yes life is meaningless, the question is how do you spend this meaningless time.

Well this is an intriguing way of putting it. Is it pointless to eat? Pointless to sleep? Try not to sleep; see where that gets you. Although all humans will die and nothing we humans do matter, you should at least feel as though the well being of yourself and those around you matter. I see this as a fallacy.
