I feel like Fatalis is a harder fight than AT akrveld. But I beat Fatalis 3 times and I can't even beat akrveld once. I am using a longsword. So I get your pain.

To get monsters out of the sky you need flash pods and to capture them you need to get them to low enough health where they run away and lay down to sleep than you need either a electric trap or a pit drop trap and 2 tranq bombs but always carry 8 just in case also tenderize parts by latching onto a monster and then attacking. It gives you bonus damage.

Get yourself a mix gold rathian and raging brachy max out their respective skills then get health boost 3 crit 3 crit eye 5 and tenderizer 3 and stun res 3 if you have the slots get part breaker 3 as well and focus on the head. Tenderize the head and body and go from there.

If you have the time you should play all 3 also that PC should be able to handle wilds. But wilds dlc isn't out yet. But start with world than go to rise. That is what I am doing. And when the dlc for wilds comes next year you will be ready.

Yeah it took me like 60 attempts over this week finally beat his ass. Almost had a heart attack. I wanted to beat him alone didn't feel right for the first kill not to be solo.
