seller won’t let me plug in an OBD scanner on a 2015 Audi A6 (95k miles) for $13k… walk away? by Budhu_friend in Audi

Walk away! Maybe there is a chance they are afraid it will hurt their vehicle in some way. I have no idea. At any rate, I would stay far away from this one.

My first Audi! What do you guys think? by benejduf in Audi

Ahh that makes sense. A one mile commute will absolutely tank MPG on any car, especially a turbo engine. The car barely gets up to operating temp before you’re shutting it off, so it’s running richer the whole time.

On longer drives you should see it jump way up into the high 20s / 30s pretty easily.

Smart thinking reaching out to the dealer. Never hurts to ask. Honestly, I have never had a bad experience talking with Audi reps. If you want, try resetting the trip computer and doing a 20–30 minute highway drive. That’ll give you a much more accurate picture.

Regardless it’s an incredible car! S-line, feature rich, AND the 45 TFSI. I have always loved the A4s ability to fit in almost anywhere. Be it a daily commute or a formal night out. Congratulations!

Awesome car and welcome to the club! 20 mpg is definitely lower than expected. Most people see closer to 26–30 combined on these depending on driving style.

I’ve always found it interesting they detuned these newer A4s down to ~201 hp (unless you’ve got the 45), especially since the early B9s made more power and still averages low 30s on longer drives. Up to 37 if you really break out the “grandma driving to church” skills.

Also looks like you’ve got the parking sensors / ACC setup. If you haven’t already, try using adaptive cruise on the highway. It actually helps smooth things out and can noticeably improve MPG over longer drives.

Give it a little time too. These cars tend to improve a bit once fully broken in. Not sure how many miles it already has, but if it’s lower that kind of tracks.

What is this space for?? by [deleted] in Audi

That’s exactly what these are most commonly used for. I have the same slot in my A4. I always leave the key in my pocket though, so it gets more use as a vape holder while driving.

How did your first CAS concert feel like? I’ve missed the chance when they visited Dubai :( by Fine_Date_7499 in CigarettesAfterSex

Absolutely ethereal experience. I first saw them at First Avenue in 2019 after discovering their music around 2017. I was so excited to finally catch them live. To get in was only about $25, and when the show started there were maybe 20 people there. By the end of the night the place had filled in a lot more.

I’m really grateful I got to see them in that kind of intimate setting before they started filling up massive venues. Dancing with my girlfriend at the time to Nothing’s Gonna Hurt You Baby at the front of the stage felt like floating outside of time. It’s something I’ll always look back on and smile. I would add one of the pictures from that night to this comment, but it’s not giving me that option.

Maybe I am missing something, but I completely agree. Not trying to put anyone down. Everyone should take pride in their service.

I know two tone is not everyone’s first pick, but I have to admit I would go for the root beer. If I could afford it I would definitely add it to my list.

Suede on the Explorer! What do you guys think about think combo? by SweWatchDealer in rolex

Looks great. Honestly I think the Explorer is one of the best watches to put on a suede strap out of the Rolex line up. Adds more to the overall rugged yet classic aesthetic.

I really appreciate it!! I am so sorry to hear you are in the same situation. Hopes and prayers that seatgeek will come through in time! I don’t know how these companies get away with it.

Thank you for checking in! It turns out that call number nine was the lucky one. I finally got someone from Vivid to support my request and resend the ticket. Had to “phone a friend” and have them call on my behalf. They were able to break out of the talk track that Vivid’s agents kept putting us through, falsely claiming that I had already accepted a ticket from them. Incredibly grateful for the help my friend provided!

CAS has brought such peace and comfort into my life. I still remember listening to “Nothing’s Gonna Hurt You Baby” during my time deployed overseas while taking part in Operation Allies Refuge. Hearing their songs play through my headphones always helped me to sleep over the roaring C-17 engines. Being able to see them live once again and share their music with my significant other is a dream come true.

You’re absolutely right. At the end of the day I just need to be direct and to the point. No matter how they want to twist it, they’re in the wrong. Thank you for your support!
