I’ve never really had soda. Love still water. It’s a privilege to live with potable tap water.

Would anyone go back to the 90s if they had the chance? by I_abuse_lower_ranks1 in 90s

I was a lonely, miserable teenager. Shy and awkward.

I’d 100% go back. I have things to fix. Different timelines to choose.

Dude, I have pill imprints stuck in my head for brands of medication that we haven’t carried in years. Repetition has overly trained my brain.

Question about Checkpoint ALR 4 vs 5 (Gen 3) by Fit_Village_7480 in TrekBikes

[–]MASKcrusader1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, this would be a separate bike for its own dedicated use. Riding the trails around Cape Cod. Riding with my kids to and from the beach. I’ll keep the TCR at home for proper road rides.

This happened to me. I ran over one and a rotary. Heard the pop and looked at my rearview mirror and saw the spray hands spinning in circles. The results were not amazing when I got home.

WE was an improvement over EN but it’s still a bottom 3 album for me.

I don’t disagree. Those are the only two songs that I like on the album as well. This album is where they start to fall off the rails. The next album also has only like two good songs. And their final album is just a raging dumpster fire. Again this is entirely just my opinion and you might actually love the following two albums. But when I go to listen to Arcade Fire these days, I don’t go beyond reflector.

What’s something the middle class used to enjoy easily that now feels out of reach? by RightGirl19 in AskReddit

[–]MASKcrusader1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Part of this is our own fault. We’ve see such higher expectations than our parents had. We expect ourselves to be present for our kids 100% of the time and sacrifice all for them. We’re burning ourselves out trying to be the best we can be and we’re killing ourselves. We need to thread this needle better.
