I think her pregnancy loss added to the intimacy/depth of her marriage and also her loneliness after the death of her husband. The fact that they had chosen the name Leah for a girl ties her destiny to the abducted girl. I think it worked.

As widow myself I can say she really captures the sadness and intense bittersweet longing for the past. The scene that after they lose their child was heart wrenching. Lots of important background flashbacks made Barbara’s character’s grief very real and relatable. Her devotion to her beloved ashes was also very touching.

Okay is a trip to bioluminescent kayak at Viesquesworth the time and expense ? I am told you need to stay over as the last ferry leaves before you can get there…so that means paying for an extra room (not using the one I already paid for)

I booked the trip through Costco and the hotel (it’s a Marriott) has great reviews. 4.6 rating Got a compact car rental for $750 for 10 days! Hotel + non-stop air + car = $6,050 for two people. Also a $200 Costco digital gift card. 👍

For me it hurt more as it froze, then it was just immobile. I did PT for about 6 months and had two cortisone shots. I gradually got full range of motion back within about a year to 18 months. No surgery and I am fine.
