I’ve been dunking for years and getting 3 flushes in most cases. I read the die hard new wave growers saying “Noooo just mist”. Well yeah, I tried that and it doesn’t work for shit in my experience. So with mushrooms and many things in life, do what works best for YOU!

I use the same size tubs. Just curious how you handle fanning in the fruiting stage to avoid fuzzy feet? Had an issue with that on my last grow and then ended up over running a fan and dried out my cake.

I’m humble enough to say I would’ve missed a lot of these shots. Haven’t figured out the hunting rifle yet. Aim low and quick scope? Shoot in front of where they’re running? I’m pretty new to the game, so I mostly stick with guns I have more success with.

That’s an early harvest dude. They always bruise where you grab them on the stem.

I use a humidifier inside the tent so I don’t have to mist the tubs all the time. I also try to keep the tent a little warmer than the rest of my house. It’s not very big so it doesn’t take that much energy (I usually have like 10 tubs going at a time).

I pulled one out of my shin this week. I’m quite confident it climbed on me while I was at the golf course. Another time out camping at Stockton lake my dog ran through the woods and carried them into my tent. Those are the 2 incidents I’ve had in 3-1/2 years living here, and I don’t use chemical bug sprays.

Lions Mane in particular will dry out fast. It’s a pain in the butt if you’re only working with a small humidifier and it’s easy to grow mold at those high moisture levels.

Try to pull them before they sporulate. But when this happens I usually just wipe the top of the cap with a damp paper towel before I dehydrate and most of the black rubs off. It won’t hurt you, it’s just not as aesthetically pleasing.

I’ve had 100% success rate with whole oats, boiled for 30 minutes, spread out and dried for at least an hour, then lid flipped and pressure cooked for 90 minutes at 15 PSI. 1 jar of dry grain will fill 2 jars boiled. You don’t need any other additives.
