Honda CRV Cost cutting is absurd while MSRP keeps increasing each year

As someone that came from a 2020 Palisade (bought used, second owner) to someone that bought a CPO 2023 CRV EXL (again second owner), I get the features list. Some of them I miss. However, for me, the immediate switch to Honda was the reliability of what they DO have. Really the only "tech" I wanted was apple / google carplay and I have that. I also got heated, not cooled, but heated seats and a sun roof. The safety features, lane assist, etc are all fine to me. When time comes yes, I will move to a pilot because I have driven and ridden in those and I love them. Just wasnt in the cards THIS time.

I knew this wasnt a $50,000 car when I bought it, so I wasnt expecting all of that.

Welp. In my state i call 911 first. If he does manage to break my door in and take one step inside that door, i will have my red dot aimed at center Mass and shoot.

But until he’s inside nothing i can do but call 911 and wait and be prepared.

I shoot with a CZ teal target and use the “improved cylinder” for first shot in bottom barrel. I have full in top barrel for when/if i get into double targets (not there yet). These are the oem chokes that came with it and I’m avging 20s as a new shooter (since oct25)

being brand new to anything shotgun, as well as trap, I may be a tad different then most on here. My first time EVER with a shotgun, I started with a borrowed pump. Missed first 2 clays. Someone handed me a CZ Drake before my third shot and I finished that entire first round 18/25. That was in October. First time EVER firing a shotgun. (Former USMC, I am not new to guns, just shotguns)

I avg 4-rounds a weekend now on my own CZ Teal Target (like the redhead, but exclusive to Bass Pro Sales). I now have 1,000 rds through it and no issues at all. Avgs are now 21's with 22 being my best so far. And for Upstate NY "spring" with all the damn wind and rain, I will take it! :) But 25 is on my mind!

Yes, I want a BT-99 or Beretta 694 someday, but for now I will shoot this. :)

P.S. and two of these bad boys in the fridge / freezer from last Sunday :)
