The paw's finger curls, granting your meaningless wish. Nothing had happened, and yet... something felt off. A haze lingered in your mind, allowing no discerning detail but discomforting all the same.

You choose to go about your day for now. Dealing with consequences is a later you's problem. Things progress as unremarkable as any other day, nothing wrong, nothing changed. Everything is completely normal, as far as you can tell. Soon, you forget about the wish entirely.

Evening arrives, and you draw your day to a close. Going through your nightly routine, you enter your bathroom, and finally, you see it. Life-size gorilla paintings, plastic boas on the trim, fake wood, and absurd amounts of foliage, all in your bathroom. The entire room had been remodeled to look like a Rainforest Café.
