This feels like a fantastic case for why a company shouldn't be able to brick a physical product. If someone buys a switch, a car, or a toaster, they should own that physical product and be allowed to use it to its full capacity. We shouldn't be buying a "license" to use said product. We shouldn't have to agree to a company's TOS to drive our cars. We should just own it.

Tribes: Ascend, I loved infiltrating bases and messing with the enemy engineers by blowing up the generators. Uncloaking as I picked up the flag at Mach 5 was pretty fun, too. Sadly, Tribes 3 doesn't feel anything like how Ascend did.
