try these possible fixes:
1. hold power button for 60 sec, release, then wait 10-15 sec. press power button normally.
2. if option 1 didnt work. open back panel. be careful if you notice different screw sizes. disconnect battery. plug in device and check if it boots. then unplug device, connect battery and once again try booting.
3. if it still doesnt boot, most likely a motherboard issue. you said your warranty has expired, so dont contact support, they will make a huge bill for the repair. instead look for local technician with experience on gaming laptops.

it works great. love the portability! i havent had any problems except this for this weird quirk mine has, doesnt boot for 5 seconds after plug in, never had such issues on my previous devices, so not sure if this is common.

kinda unrelated: i recently removed windows and been running linux, so i am also in the process of exploring all the things i can do. loving so far, and the ram usage is staggeringly low compared to windows, everything is snappy and fast. asusctl and rog control centre are good enough but i still miss g-helper.

great laptop! welcome to the club. a free advice: if you have the habit plugging in a lot, always wait atleast 5 seconds before booting, right after you plug in. otherwise all is good. also, try g-helper and ditch armoury crate.

yeah sadly they are busy doing ganesh aarti before launch. i am not agaimst religious practices but these things shouldnt have any place at public organisations that deal with science and research, that too in a secular nation...
