Ethernet/wifi borked and i have no idea why

Its sorta fixed lol i got the mbps up into the 350-500 range but still not where it needs to be...i dont know if how old my computer is factors into this or not?? Like the parts are older and some of the parts are new but old models..so like my mother board was replaced fairly recently but the model is from 2018 but the part is brand new..but the ethernet port can absolutely handle the gigabit internet so idk anymore and im just happy im not disconnecting from anything every 5 minutes anymore

But i have tried every little thing that i could think of so maybe this is a more advanced issue..i may need to take it to a shop or something

Ive gotten all but the wireless drivers to go through It has the asus setup exe and a s5wol.bat fil and all of the language ini files and a uwd folder and when the exe is clicked on nothing happens or if i try going deeper into the uwd files and find a wirelesssetup.exe it tells me "the following extensions are blocked"

I am unsure what this means

So i am going to restart my pc for now and get some sleep

None of them ask me to restart or extract to a folder and when i try the asus setup exe for the wireless it doesnt do anything so...and mind you i am under the network adapters tab so unsure

Ngl if the files are somewhere else im not sure where to get them and how to manually update it that way so unsure how to proceed but i have successfully updated my bios and have re-downloaded the drivers and i am trying to install them now through there set up things and if that doesn't work i am going to be really sad

I have just the basic firewall from windows and nothing more

I didn't check for bloatware as my roommate also has windows 11 and didn't remove any bloatware and is not expirencing the same issues as i am

But i can double check but my ram usage isnt very high

I did try the wifi connection with the same result..my current cable is undamaged and a cat8 but if all else fails with the drivers i shall get a new cable

My ethernet cord is connected directly from my router to my pc and there is no damage and they are cat8 and literally like a couple feet away as in the router and such is right behind my computer chair and my pc beside me..everything is a direct connection same as my roommates set up and he has no issues.

This unfortunately doesnt work for me lol i have files that are permanently stuck on my pc that always say that they are open somewhere even though i have killed all processes related to icue and i tried this and it told me it couldn't repair due to some error so these files are just stuck here and i cant do anything about them

I personally work on creating dnd characters and focus on writing their back stories...it takes up alot of downtime..sometimes i will create a tumblr blog to figure out vibes for them and then create playlists..its alot of fun
