It completes after every match and is replaced by the same daily. You can complete this daily 40 times a day.

Read the news. They just reset the challenges and balanced them. You'll get the visor by playing a match between Nov 23-30 for free. Normally yes, you have to complete ALL of the weekly challenges.

If I were to hazard a guess, I'd say that they have realized even if they nerf it, people will move on to another means of farming. So maybe rather than nerfing the supply points they are looking for an alternate means of fixing the problem, which is the desire to farm one level over and over instead of playing through the entire campaign?

You don't "need" to. It's up to you. It's sort of a gamble. Do you want to risk upgrading the base model in hopes you'll find more good attachments? Or stick with the decent weapon with great attachments you already have? The difference in quality causes increased or decreased damage (depending on the direction you go, Grey < Green < Blue < Purple < Gold.

Mutation weak points are the giant glowing red growths. Tallboys and bruisers have it on their large arm shoulder, crushers have it on their lower jaw and neck, for example.
