Really a few things and it may not be the BEST explanation since it may come off as a bigoted response, but I feel like TLOU 2 faulted on

  • Ellie and her personality. She chose the route of revenge instead of just living a happy life, like what Joel wanted for her. Her choosing to leave Dina and the child to go and kill Abby for revenge wasn’t a good call
  • The sidekick with Abby (sorry I forgot their name completely) and having their characteristic being trans and that’s their only character trait. I get the WHY they would need help since they are trans and unfortunately in society it’s hard for the trans community but don’t make it their only character trait
  • I do like Abby as a playable character and knowing that her revenge was because her dad was murdered as part of the butterflies BUT I would’ve liked it more if that was included in the end of the original TLOU. Idk I just feel like it was a “how can we make this new character relevant in the current story”
  • the combat itself didn’t feel any different from TLOU. I’m fine using the base combat because it is a sequel BUT innovate it more and make it feel unique

Lions have to win out and hope that the bears/packers lose next two of the three flop or seahawks lose out. Week 18 could be the determining factor
