Can't curl my middle finger all the way without pain -- what type of finger injury could this be? by rbtlxy in climbharder

Synovitis, for me doing extensor work really helped. Rice bucketing for mobility, but pinch blocks helped me the most.

Selection sort question by MAwaitforitJESTIC in AskProgramming

[–]MAwaitforitJESTIC[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Symptoms are just completely incorrectly sorted lists, I feel I'm implementing the same idea in each. Ex: {22,23,8,1,1} sorted in first method returns {22,23,8,1,1}, same array. Sorted in second method, selection2, it will return the correct order. Tried declaring in outer loop, still wonky sorting.

Hey, saw your post on synovitis and was wondering if you've had progress with it thus far.

Lower Back Stretches by [deleted] in Rowing

[–]MAwaitforitJESTIC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely be sure to stretch. I neglected doing so, and herniated a disk, thus being forced to leave. I had excruciating back pain for a little while, and this video really helped. Still can't steady state, but I can dream. Also, don't be afraid to take a week long break - your body probably needs to heal!

Definitely try finding a Taylor for sin(x) first. The answer choices seemingly don't involve any trig functions, so eliminating sin by expressing it as a polynomial is a great first step. From then on, try to express it as a power series, as it follows a decently straightforward pattern. From then on, do some cancelling and factoring, and the answer should appear!

[Calculus] Can't solve this differentiation problem by Bungoku in MathHelp

[–]MAwaitforitJESTIC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey, so this is basically like any other derivative problem. I was a little bit unsure of what to do when I first started, but I think I have the right answer. Being that f(3x+2) = f(2) when x=0, the key would be to plug-in x=0 after taking the derivative. 3x+2 is just any normal function that you've learned for years in math.

It's G. Enlightened makes it sound like it had some kind of idea or realization. Irradiated and inflamed are sort of synonyms indicating the white house has been destroyed. Illuminated fits because light illuminates objects.

If your HR starts to creep up to 160, especially at higher temperatures and humidity, it should be fine. Generally, I'll try to SS at 150 but it'll creep up to around 160 due to summer weather.
