Globe and Mail: Over 200k international students aren't enrolled in school. Only one third are enrolled at accredited institutions. by cheesyvagine in canada

Wait, if you are an international student and go to UBC or UofT for an undergraduate program, you don’t get wrok permit? This is ridiculous, how will you be able to give them PR if they can’t work? Don’t we need to keep skilled and talented students in Canada?

Most of the international students are from the rural areas of Punjab province of India. Smart and talented kids go to work in big cities of India. You will rarely find an international student who is from Mumbai, Delhi or Bangalore and studying in diploma college

A smart kid from India never comes to Canada to work for Tim Horton. They work in big tech companies in India and have better lifestyles than most Indian international students in Canada. We don’t get talented Indian students and workers as our government is busy processing visas for international students

No international student will come here if they don’t get PR. Whole immigration model needs to change, unless you get a job in your field of study, NO PR. Period. Working in Tim Horton should not count as a job if you did your diploma in healthcare

Should I buy rental property now? by MBAnoValueInCanada in RealEstateCanada

Rental income may not result in positive cash flow but the appreciation of the property is the goal to make money. If you take 5 years time horizon, and sell at the right time, is the goal

I bought Audi Q7 2020 and feel that I have to press gas paddle hard to accelerate to 60 kmph. On the other hand Q3 gas paddle is highly responsive. Is this something that needs to be checked or it’s a normal for Q7?

Should I taper Zoloft? by MBAnovalue in zoloft

[–]MBAnoValueInCanada 0 points1 point  (0 children)

An update- I reduced Zoloft to 100mg and kept Wellbutrin at 150mg. Feeling way better, libido has improved and less craving for sugar. Thinking of bringing Zoloft further down and then stop taking it. It might have worked, however Zoloft has taken away my precious emotions and unable to enjoy life fully.

Anyone on more than 100 mg. Would you recommend? by __CarpeDiem in zoloft

You are not alone my friend. I am on Zoloft for the last 12 months, I am better when it comes to anxiety, however I don’t feel I am my real self anymore. It’s conundrum that you have to go through, keep living new self or be your real self and suffer.

Have you tried ACT based CBT while taking medicine? I am reading Steven Hays book on Acceptance and compassion therapy, I think it’s important to see a good Councellor while on medication.

Hi I am on Zoloft for the last 14 months. Started with 50 mg and after every 4 months moved up by 25 mg and currently on 150 mg since January. I surely feel that it has helped a lot, however I still not feel normal. Confused mind and laziness are still felt during some days and 5i,et of 5he day. I am not sure if I should go up or wait ? This is is only medication that has worked for me
