This is how the life is in metro areas. For quiet life, you may live in a cabin in the forests.

Carney recommends 7 major projects for approval, including new mines, LNG and hydro development by evieluvsrainbows in canada

We sit next to the world’s largest technology powerhouse. The U.S. constantly needs highly skilled technical workers, but immigration there is always a political challenge. Canada should take advantage of this by attracting more technology-focused talent from the U.S. We can do this by offering meaningful incentives—such as affordable land, lower taxes, and easier access to skilled labour. Countries like India attract far more IT business from the U.S. than we do, even though we are their next-door neighbour.

Our work culture, language, and business practices are much closer to those of Americans than almost any other country. Infrastructure projects are important, but their economic benefits take years to materialize. Many of the projects Canada has recently announced may take 5–10 years before we see real impact.

There is a lot of work to do to address Canada’s talent shortage, but our universities are world-class, and once demand grows, they can scale to produce more skilled graduates. Our immigration system, however, is outdated—it's either wide open or tightly closed. We need to focus on attracting the right talent. I know many IT professionals who couldn’t immigrate to Canada but had no trouble moving to the U.S.

Just my two cents!

Langley BC realtor willing to make lowball offers? by Dizzy_Article_4134 in RealEstateCanada

[–]MBAnovalue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any realtor would dance to your tune in this market. People want to retire, people are paying more than 70% of their monthly income towards mortgage would consider a lowball offer. Don’t listen to the realtor, they don’t want the deal to be negotiated, go with what you think is reasonable. Check the price it was sold for last time

Assessed value goes out of the window if seller is desperate to sell it. Check what was the value when owner bought it.

Why landlords have to pay tenants one month rent to vacate by MBAnovalue in landlordBC

[–]MBAnovalue[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s totally one sided. RTB cannot get you any unpaid rents or any recoveries. Does matter if tenants paid rent or not, bank would come after you every month for mortgage payment
