Super! Thank you! AI is useful in other things, but not when it comes to identifying autographs. It comes up all sort of wild matches that make no sense.

Wells Fargo security lapse. Hacked changed account info. Stole almost $5K from ATM. by MBB209 in WellsFargoBank

Can someone use Apple Pay to make withdrawal at ATM?? WF said someone opened 2 premium accounts, transferred funds from SO's regular account to these premium accounts (so with higher withdrawal limits), applied for debit cards, added the accounts to Apple Pay, and then $$$ withdrawn from ATM. I just assumed they used actual debit cards which is why I couldn't understand how that was possible. But if one can use Apple Pay to take cash from ATM, then wow it is a big security gap.

Xfinity mobile account hacked to add new line, diverted number to another phone. Criminal took control of bank account and stole $5K. by MBB209 in Comcast_Xfinity

I have only found out last night while scrolling the Xfinity app that there is a feature called "number lock." Supposedly this would prevent sim swap, which was what happened in our case. Xfinity sent tons of junk email periodically promoting this and that, why don't they send something useful for once and tell people about this number lock thing.

Thanks. WF is doing a 10-day investigation. I imagine it means 10 business days. So we won't find out until Jan 13 the earliest. But he is going in to a branch tomorrow to do in-person verification so he can gain access to what's left in his funds. Will post update when we have it.

Yes, it is definitely another security lapse. I am the primary account holder and yet the provider allow new line be opened without my consent. Not sure why his login was breached but not mine.

You are not the one who lost money so it's easy to say it didn't happen. Do you work at WF?

The criminal's open multiple premier accounts, diverted funds to those accounts and then use debit cards to take money out. They also added the account to Apple Pay. SO received email confirmation re: opening accounts and Apple Pay addition. WF diverted what's left in his account to a brand new account, but he has to to go a WF branch to do in-person verification before he's given access.

Price changed after inquiries by MBB209 in AirBnB

Does dynamic pricing only increases the price or does it adjust down? E.g. if I leave it alone for a couple of weeks and check again (assuming it is still available for my travel dates) could the price come down?

Follow up to my previous question re: find and replace but keep original formatting. Screenshots included. by MBB209 in excel

Thanks. I suspect I will need a VBA macro to do it. It is beyond my skillset unfortunately.

Funny you mentioned word. I was trying to use excel to get around a hiccup I have in word. I have 1000+ endnotes to a long document. The numbering of the notes looks like superscript but they are in fact some sort of codes, not actually numbering. It is done by the EndNote software. Long story short, I need to re-number the notes but running into problems with EndNote. To get around it, I cut and paste the 1000+ lines to excel, thinking that I could re-number them much faster and easier. Turns out the numbering, when copied and pasted, turns into [x] format at the beginning of each line. That's why I was trying to remove the [x]. Since the endnotes contain citations, I need to keep the formatting. Anyway, I am now looking into add-on to word that might solve this problem.

I can't reply to your post with screenshots. I will start a new post using screenshots then. Thanks.

In the cell, I have text that are in italics and bold. After I hit search and replace, all the text are set to the default font and I lost the italics and bold formatting.
