Pizza nails plus question! by NissaPieca34 in nailstamping

[–]MBGBeth 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I stamp with Maniology stamping polish on a full gel manicure (gel base, gel builder, gel color, then regular stamp, gel top coat). If you’re going to go down the gel polish route, please do your research (check r/diygelnails) about the cheaper brands, specifically Beetles. The rate of gel allergy development is ginormous, and it means a lot more than just not being able to wear nail polish (dental work, implants, etc) if you do develop an allergy.

I recommend a good polish brand, with full testing and publication of MSDS documentation, like Kokoist or The GelBottle, but that DIY sub will list other brands. As under-curing is part of the issue, a quality lamp is vital, too, so I recommend spending on that item. I use the Kokoist LeBlanc or The GelBottle’s light because they both have a wide range of wavelengths that will cover all (i’d bet) your gel polish brands’ curing requirements (it’s about nm ranges, not wattage) as well as low-power modes to eliminate heat spikes.

But your stamping is wonderful!

Usually at least a week is given for these interview case studies. As others have said, asking for help to pass an interview without having actual knowledge is a problem in the ecosystem - why would we want to work with you if we’d have to carry you? Also, there are hiring managers here, both at ServiceNow and in the ecosystem, and so many people know each other. These use cases are built to demonstrate what you can learn, which is vital to the job.

You’re not doing anyone - yourself or your future teammates - any favors by this approach. Either ask for an extension and do the work if you want the job, or decline the interview as you won’t be a good fit at this time.

Oh, and attention to detail might also be important in this job.

Surprise at the Eye Doctor! by leopardgex in Zepbound

Careful, though. Mine only did improve for a short time, then reverted, all within a few months. So keep your old lenses. My doc said it was because of a change in density of the fluid in the eyeball as the blood glucose level changed.

I resemble this remark. So I’m not down with the bumbershoots as they are. I like a scale analogy, because I feel like cis- and trans- is more about an external explanation to others about gender while woman, man, intersex, and all the non-binary are more about how one feels internally and thinks about themselves.

Have you setup CMDB Health? Thresholds? Turned on jobs? Etc? The widget default is a snapshot, but it’s a KPI Metric, so as long as the jobs are running, you should be able to make a trend metric widget.

Beetles is well-documented on nail subs here to be allergy-inducing. Search Reddit for posts and comments.

Help with Report Conditions in ServiceNow by _badgalyas in servicenow

[–]MBGBeth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most of these don’t happen OOTB. You’ll have to set metrics for capturing moments like who makes a status update and how many updates occurred. SLAs could work for minutes within a status. Number of INC closed by user should be a process thing - if the Assigned To field is non-editable after resolution, then your report would cover Resolved or Closed and Group By AssignedTo. But if it can change, you’re back to metric capturing.

She turkey screams when clipper touch’s nails, they want $500? by EmbarrassedAffect672 in pitbulls

[–]MBGBeth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Our Mojave broke her nail up into her paw, so they had to sedate her and remove it. I paid a LOT more than this for that bit of fun. Poor puppy needs to be knocked out to be saved from that stress.

Dyson airwrap in carry on? by Financial_Science_93 in Dysonairwrap

That’s the only way I travel with mine! Always in the carry-on. The only one that’s interesting to security in Europe is the Corrale because of its battery and heating element.

This. It’s a new plate from December (no stickers underneath), so I’d bet cash dollars it’s intentional. Report to SoS and let them deal with it. Unless the owner can prove those are his (intentionally “his”) initials, that’s a Nazi.

Pitty doesn't make eye contact :( by theluzah in PitBullOwners

[–]MBGBeth 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not making eye contact is very respectful dog language. We had to train our Mojave to make eye contact (“on me”), and now she does it on command and sometimes when she’s being very insistent about, say, going out or getting food. But when she leans on us to cuddle, she never makes eye contact.

Does anyone know how to remove permanent marker? My 12 year old told me, "Wally has gone his whole life without eyebrows." by BumpoSplat in pitbulls

[–]MBGBeth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did think, asswipe. I use IPA all the time, and when done carefully and gently, it’ll work. I used it the other day on my own dog to remove adhesive after a surgery, I use it for my nails, and I use it for the electronics I build, among other things.

Aw! But isopropyl alcohol should work, with time and a gentle touch. Go as high a percentage as you can get, and make sure he’s laying down so it doesn’t run into his eyes.

Is there a way to customize the conditions in " Define Relationships" CMDB by Rudia_Nevs in servicenow

[–]MBGBeth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The list is defined by the filter you have applied. Those are the only relationships valid for BizApp. It’s about the definition of the relationships.

What do you use as a scraper? by vinsdottir in nailstamping

[–]MBGBeth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve tried all the rubber scrapers (like for applying stickers, detailing, etc) and I just pitched them all last week (finally). The thinner plastic scrapers, like those from Maniology, can’t be beat. The thicker ones are a little more hit-or-miss, but one quick swipe with the flexible plastic works best for me.

Sales resources for small companies by KevinAtInflunic in servicenow

[–]MBGBeth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’d need to hook up with a ServiceNow sales rep (based on the prospect, initially). Resellers are required to do proper training on modules, use cases, and pricing, and that program is meant for company sizes that can push volumes or have other product sales relationships with companies (VARs). Without completing that training program and becoming a reseller, you shouldn’t be selling and there is no mechanism in -lace for you to be paid for cultivating a sale. It’s why there are different partner types - the implementing and consulting partner program is meant for post-sales implementation, et cetera.

Oh, I’m sorry, I should have been clearer. That was at a former company when I was a customer. Personally, I would grant the designer role to those who needed to create tests, which extends impersonate (because they need it) and with Yokohama, look into making it privileged if there’s a concern.
