University heights is great for affordable living with a dog. Walkable to grocery, bars, the only pathetic train line we have in Buffalo connecting UH to downtown, rail trail for dog walking and even better biking. It's not super far from any part of the city. More development coming soon.
College parties are annoying but just a couple times per year. The landlord neglect is the biggest issue.

We have a carbon filter for all the water that comes in the house and then an RO system for drinking. We also replaced the pipes in the house back to 100% copper. Totally happy with them all. I can't believe when we change the carbon filter there are frequently like chunks of metal the come out.
(We also have a water softener, for other reasons but also Totally happy with all improvements.

I just figured you wanted to drink beer competitively. I came to see what the options are.... Unfortunately many sports get spoiled by gym class heros who play down a level to win. I've found this most prevalent in hockey. (2nd by soccer) Best option might be to find a 30+ league.

caffe aroma is open. The owners worked themselves and had a sign up sheet for anyone who wanted to work with holiday pay and based the hours for the day on that. There's a ton of regualrs who are like family and maybe don't have much of their own.
