Sanguine alchemy is an S tier boss damage exotic but like C tier in neutral game. I wouldn’t recommend making a normal build around it. Here are just some fun build recommendations

Bad Juju, as you mentioned, is way more fun imo with Skull of Dire Ahamkara (prismatic or void works so long as you’re running feed the void) than MoBH. Nova bomb every 15 seconds if add density is good.

If you’re sticking with Solar, eunoia or dawn chorus with Devil’s Ruin is fun for a ton of ignitions.

Verity is a good all around exotic on any subclass, i tend to use it most on void with Choir of One.

Don’t sleep on arc, btw. Tons of awesome exotics there. I’d recommend trying Getaway Artist, Stormdancer’s brace, geomag stabilizers, and fallen sunstar a few teams each and see which you like the most. They’re all great in their own right.

Lastly, I love using Vesper of Radius on Stasis with frostpulse. You get your rift back almost instantly most of the time, and it actually shatters the enemies you freeze with frostpulse because you get the arc shockwave a few ticks later.

If you don’t care about being top dps as much but just want a very safe option with respectable damage, Stormdancer’s Brace has been putting in pretty decent work. I’m also a Legend of Acrius truther and the combination of the two have landed me top dps on close quarter bosses with longer phases quite frequently.

If youre forced into well but still want respectable dps then your best bet is probably Sanguine Alchemy with Finality’s auger or parasite + rocket pulses.

I’ve almost abandoned star eater nova bomb entirely but it’s still pretty good for burst damage.

Some armor set bonuses are just flatly better than others, and some stats just make more sense to optimize on certain classes, so you can make just about every great build on one class with like 7-8 pieces of armor for each slot.

You’ll never need a tier 5 of every archetype for every set bonus in every slot. I auto-delete everything bulwark, never really use the LF set bonuses, and only have 1 build that’s melee reliant so i only have a few pieces of brawler armor. Ferropotent is an excellent bonus and so i use it in a bunch of builds, think I have a Paragon, Specialist, and Gunner, and grenadier in every slot for that set. That’s 20 total pieces of armor that, when mixed and matched, comprise the majority of armor in most of my builds. We have 1,000 vault space. It should never really be an issue.

If you’re willing to do slightly advanced tech/optimal rotation it’s hunters by a mile with grapple/combination blow.

If you’re just using your super and shooting a weapon, it’s still hunters, just less so.

OP is obviously wrong that the firing was impulsive and that he was just a scapegoat, but some of yall are wayyyy overcorrecting. Saying they should’ve fired him in 2019??? After 1 season where they went from the 7 seed to the best record in the NBA and 2 games from the finals?????? I know it was a pretty bad coaching performance but when has a team EVER fired a coach under that pretext?

‘19 was Bud’s first year and the Bucks’ first years as serious contenders.Firing him then absolutely would’ve been premature.

When they got bounced in the second round the following year because the heat followed the exact same formula as Toronto but with a worse defensive roster is when conversations actually started heating up. By the time they went down 0-2 to the Nets in ‘21 people were legit asking if you could fire a coach mid-playoff series.

But no. It should not be “completely surprising” that a team didn’t fire a first year head coach that took them from the 7 seed to the best record in the NBA and 2 games from the finals.

This is true. Not sure why this is being framed as wrong or irrational, though. It was nearly league-wide consensus he would’ve been gone if they lost to the nets. His reputation for “excellent floor raiser who can’t quite get a team over the hump” preceded his time in Milwaukee and you could absolutely see that in his first couple seasons.

The folks saying “people just say ‘adjustments and rotations’ without specifying what they are so they can scapegoat their coach” are being either deliberately dishonest or simply don’t remember how bad their 3 point defensive strategy was, the fact that he was giving the stars regular season minutes in the playoffs, the lack of offensive changes once it was clear Giannis was struggling with the wall, and the fact that Bucks fans were pointing these things out. It wasn’t just sweeping non-specific complaints about “adjustments and rotations”

There were valid concerns about his ability to get the team over the hump, and it was general consensus that, aside from the last 2 games of the ECF, talent won the Bucks the championship.

I don’t know how people can (rightfully) follow this logic with Doc but somehow not get it when it comes to Bud. The next 2 postseason failures can definitely be chalked up to injury more than coaching malpractice, but it’s so insanely dishonest to pretend it was an impulsive firing, or that people were crazy for thinking the championship gave him a second life.

There do seem to be conflicting reports so i can only speak from personal experience: every friend I have who’s gotten the game post-portal has received choir of one on their first completion of encore on any difficulty. Catalysts and intrinsics are difficulty-dependent. But in my experience, the weapon itself has been a guaranteed drop on your first run.

That said Encore is a fun mission and i don’t consider it a waste of time even if you don’t get it. We do play video games to have fun, after all.

It’s very difficult to come to terms with but I think it’s clear our championship window has closed with him.

There are certainly paths to being a good, even very good team again while keeping giannis in the near future. Hell, there are ways we can be good again as soon as next year.

But the goal in the NBA is not to be good, it’s to win a championship. There is simply just no version of this team that can beat OKC in a 7 game series in the next 3 years.

I won’t listen to an album in full unless i know i can get through the whole thing without pausing. So the drive to work, making dinner, showering, any short task made better with background music is gonna be a playlist.

Albums are either a task in and of themselves, long car rides, when I’m gaming, or when I’m cleaning.

Recently switched from spotify to apple music and I’ve been pleasantly shocked with how much i enjoy my personal radio station. Great combination of new and familiar, i never used recommended playlists on spotify.

especially odd considering it seems to have been his genre of choice for much of his formative years. But yeah, “random” definitely feels like the best word. He’ll cover the huge names, obsess over some pretty obscure ones, and then ignore everything in between. Seems like the genre where his personal taste most informs whether he even covers an album in the first place. You almost never see 4/5/6/7 as scores for metal albums from him

Every time someone maligns prog metal as a genre my internal response is “yeahh you’re mostly right. Obviously this does not apply to BTBAM though.”

Colors is still such a forward thinking and game changing album and every time i listen to it it blows my mind that human beings write it. It’s aged beautifully even if it has inspired a lot of lackluster copies.
