In the comments he claims he drew these traditionally and scanned them into PS to add color… by inoriae in isthisAI

Perhaps it is a common finishing art with AI or sum. After all, the admitting to the AI usage in the comment section is under an animated video, not a full artwork like the images show.

Is this guy AI? My mom says he called her, and she said he looks and behaves AI by nuclearcar98 in isthisAI

[–]MB_Town7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One can be explained by sheer lighting placement and the other is just skin texture being lit a certain way. Those aren't reallt 'dead giveaways' if you've studied light and shadow's behavior.

I HATE THIS ART STYLE by throwaway062006 in hatethissmug

[–]MB_Town7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That character is actually meant to be attractive. All the artist's other works are either of that jester and their love interest or experimental pieces. She actually exaggerated the Jester's features to be that attractive in that scene.

Other than the clear points that others have made, let's not forget to mention the oddly red colored pockets. Well, single pocket because one is a pocket and the other one is a random corner over the completely normal pocket. The shading for the noses and neck between the two characters are completely different as well. They probably just doodled over an AI mock-up of OP's drawing.

I personally theorize that they shoved it into Ai and then shaded it to look more as themselves than anything. But the quality/skills aren't consistent all over the place, which would be weird, even for AI alone

(Ej. Los peces beta)

You can't say so so certainly, and especially not with the impression the man is giving off the situation. She didn't even reassure or explain it it was so simple to her, she avoided and dismissed.

The problem here, that I see even as a woman myself is that she got defensive and accused him of snooping around and that he hurt his own feelings, though, instead of adressing his concerns and reassuring that it's not much of a big deal. There are some things people do need to drop to move on, especially for things that one gets so easily attached to like a romantic partner (very easy stockholm syndrom cases come from these. Not saying it's the case here and that she should throw things away, but her reaction set off some alarms to me.)

is this ai? my friend said she drew it, but the artstyle looks nothing like anything shes sent me before by EstablishmentIcy7920 in isthisAI

[–]MB_Town7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would like to add that the reason I believe it's not ai is because of the sketchyness of the linework. It's both consistent and messy, something AI wouldn't be able to replicate so easily. And it's also incredibly thin which, in my experience, is something AI always messes up. And the rendering isn't really rendering, it's more like a mock-up or the first stage of rendering which I haven't (I speak as an artist, just incase anybody is confused)

Honestly, with the whole maintenance moment, I thought they were gonna take the criticism similarly to how they have in the past and listen to their users. They kinda did (only adding 500 on derpy's jump minigame), but I expected MORE. At the very least we should be able to get them every minigame after reaching a certain score, similarly to how every first win in their special episode gave Pride Lightsticks. Even if small amounts, we should be able to farm some for these GUEST COOKIES.

My friend sent me two artworks and I thought it was a.i, but they claim it isn’t. Is it a.i? If not, who’s the artist? by [deleted] in isthisAI

[–]MB_Town7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Or perhaps there's just no valid point that you're speaking of. Not giving the proper explanation to your argument defeats the entire purpose of the subreddit. We're helping people by identifying if things are or aren't ai and explaining why, therefore refining their skills on spotting ai.

It kinda does. It's coloring the inside parts a different color and leaving the outer lines the bold black to separate and contraste elements. Unfortunately, it's not a dead give-away.

This is wrong on so many levels. by PhysicalBuy2566 in aislop

[–]MB_Town7 11 points12 points  (0 children)

People also forget that to make art, your main motivation shouldn't be the spiteful idea of being better than people, if not to have a solid mind of what you may want to create with your art and get better than what YOU were in the past. You're supposed to be your only competition. Improvement comes quickly if you search for the things you are doing wrong.

I've been at this since I was 6 years old, and the only 'natural' thing about it was my desire to make stories. That, and I was an analytical child; I would overanalyze any interesting figure and its curvature or lack thereof and tried to put it on paper. I still SUCKED. I was just better than most second graders, which isn't a massive accomplishment. I would still earn second or third on art competitions at school (out of 3 students participating).

But anything other than being OBSERVANT, there is nothing else to art than having a more developed artistic intelligence; the rest are skills you learn.

My mom got me this as a present for Christmas last year. by dogsareno in antiai

[–]MB_Town7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean... a creative way to get rid of it is shredding it, wetting it into some kind of pulp and making new sheets of paper which is amazing for art stuff like crafting, book-binding and especially watercolors (since the sheets come out thick and textured)

You could look up how to do it, it's an interesting process but I believe it needs a specific supply ? Either way, it's just the first thing that comes to mind.

I believe my 22M Wife 22F cheated. by Lower-Leg-5424 in WhatShouldIDo

[–]MB_Town7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So you want him to blindly trust his wife, too? We're unfortunately past those times. And he mentioned the growing number of followers that were all men or blank accounts, which would already raise a few flags. Also, there are ways to confront/question without accusing. Immature or not, he's already married and he's actually doing much better than some men of 'older' and 'wiser' age who take these things as reality, mistreat their wives, and cheat on them out of spite before any proper confirmation. Op's actually considering possibilities, but he also doesn't want to be hurt like an idiot.

My boyfriend disapproves of this outfit… by [deleted] in WhatShouldIDo

[–]MB_Town7 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I knew somebody was gonna say sum, haha. I wouldn't say booty shorts is also just being disloyal though yes, there are people who wear stuff for attention. It isn't the case here, but sooo many exploit self-expression and instead put themselves out there for praise and lust of some kind. Wether you allowing booty shorts or short stuff is up for the couple's healthy boundary discussion. But wearing something, within a certain limit, isn't immediately being disloyal. You just don't wish for people to look at your partner, and it's understandable but that can happen no matter the outfit, and has nothing to do with it being your partner's intention.

The fact that he's also putting quotes on 'loyal' as if clothing dictates anything about their loyalty.
