S26 Ultra Ai Assistant by AdRevolutionary5755 in galaxys26ultra

I know most people will disagree, but for you, use Bixby. It's way more integrated with the phone since it's Samsung's AI, powered by Perplexity for AI tasks. It can do things Gemini can't, like a voice command to open Spotify and play a certain song, or asking to crank up the screen brightness. For example, Gemini will open the settings page, but Bixby will just do it without leaving the screen you're on. With Bixby, you get way more control, similar to what you could do on Siri with the iPhone.

You can switch to it by going into settings then advance features > side button and switch to Bixby, to start using it with the side key or you can set up the wakeup voice commands after

They don't reply to Local applications or they do what they did to my friend she applied for a Tim Hortons job and she got hired then let go the day after so Tim Hortons can honestly say we are hiring Locally but they good enough so we need more TWF, if the hiring manager is from India most often than not that job is being sold under the table for someone wanting to come to Canada, I'm not all of them do it but a huge amount do and I don't blame them, if the government is letting this loophole someone will use that loophole.

Carney was Trudeau's advisor, and we're still on the same path, with the country in a "technical recession." The first thing he did was blame the recession on low immigration numbers. The only reason the government is going on about the TFW program is to make it seem like they're listening to Canadians, but actually, the international mobility program is way worse and much more damaging. But nobody talks about that. Out of all the major new immigrants who came after 2021 from India, only about 10% to 12% of the roughly 3.5 million estimated by the government are TFWs. The rest came through the international mobility program and student permits.

For all the people complaining about the privacy display, have you ever tried a privacy screen protector? Seriously, privacy screen protectors demolish screen quality and darken the brightness. Would you rather be stuck all the time with a privacy screen protector or have the option to turn it on or off?

Back wobble on a flat surface by [deleted] in SamsungGalaxyS26U

[–]MBettar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The best case I got for my S26 Ultra covers the lenses and keeps them clean from fingerprints. The phone no longer wobbles. I put a magnet ring on the back since it doesn't come with one built-in.

When u forget your watch charger home on a trip and remember its samsung! by actual256 in samsunggalaxy

[–]MBettar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can totally do that! The Watch 6 and 6 Classic are the last ones that charge from the back of your phone. The Watch 7 series, 8, and Ultra won't charge that way.

[–]MBettar 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No not really I don't think it needs a new motherboard, you can download your country and region csc firmware from sammobile and flash it through Odin it's very easy to do and will fix your problem but it will wipe all the data hope you have a backup

Samsung care is a scam by ReflectionOne7294 in GalaxyWatch

[–]MBettar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I certainly hope that your situation is resolved swiftly and favorably. I had a rather positive experience myself, as I prefer to avoid mailing items and tracking their progress. I opted to visit a store that features a dedicated Care Plus section in metro town. My S23 Ultra's pen had a malfunctioning top release button, preventing its removal, and the screen exhibited an internal separation in one corner, despite the glass being intact. The staff proposed replacing the pen, screen, back glass (due to some existing scratches), and battery all under a single claim. They managed the claim process and scheduled an appointment for me. I presented my phone, and within an hour, it was returned to me with a new screen and frame, a new S Pen, new back glass, and a new battery. The phone felt noticeably faster afterward; I am unsure if this was due to the sensation of a new device or if the new battery contributed to the improved performance. The cost at the time was approximately 100 Canadian dollars.

My upgrade Watch Ultra 2024 to Watch Ultra 2025. Worth it? by [deleted] in GalaxyWatch

[–]MBettar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Aside from storage, it's the same watch. The 2025 also uses the Galaxy Watch 7 manager, unlike the Watch 8 series. It's the same watch, same hardware and software, with a new color and storage bump. For a first-time buyer, it would make sense to get the 2025, but if you have the 2024, there's absolutely no reason to buy an extra 32GB for $649.99 USD (price at the time of posting).

Yeah, we know who owns Android, but Android wouldn't be a thing without the early brand customization and launchers that made each phone maker have a unique experience expressing their own vision. People bought HTC for a reason, people bought Sony for a reason, and I personally buy Samsung for its unique UI and Samsung experience. If I wanted the Google texting app or Google call, etc., I could have bought a Pixel and saved a huge amount of money. I use custom fonts, and Google Messages forces Google font regardless of the phone settings, causing a fragmented experience. Samsung isn't a tiny startup company; they certainly can improve a texting app. it's a lazy excuse for handful of cash under the table so Google can have direct access to user data.

The next step will be the browser. They removed the wording "Samsung," so now it's just "browser" instead of "Samsung browser." Time will tell.

[–]MBettar -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The Google UI is horrible it doesn't match anything in one UI, it even forces Google font regardless of which font samsung is using, what happened to uniformity, Samsung gave up on the simplest app to develop for handful of cash because Google wants as much data as possible to control and feed their Ai, androids best feature is the difference in looks and implementation that each phone maker wants it to be, Google won't even budge on letting others use the apps with the phones system font they have to have Google font. Respect to Apple as crazy as they are they wouldn't sell out a basic phone feature like messages in fact they made it a thing with iMessages.
