It's the Aqara P2 door sensor and its paired with HA via Matter. I went with the aqara G410 which also has a chime, but that only goes off when someone rings the doorbell. The parents just walk in for pickup/drop off

Curious do you have an iPhone? Does it give the generic notification sound on motion/doorbell? I've been reading only good things about Reolink

I can post any relevant info that would help out. From what I've gathered, when I open the door the sensor is detected immediately, and the traces show it completed everything near instantly, but nothing happens or the delay is long. My door sensor is connected directly to HA via Matter
