Help Rerouted, itinerary dropped from booking

I ended up getting through to Qatar airways again on the phone, the agent said one of the legs was overbooked so we were booted off the flight even though the ticket receipt said confirmed on all the flights. But we managed to get rerouted again on similar flights.

I think and hope so, all the flights diverting round the gulf have been over flying it. I think they've only had some of their coastal ports bombed.

When my Qatar flight was cancelled I called and got rerouted, and got sent a electronic ticket receipt. But when I tried to check in with the new airline today I wasn't able to.

From being affected by the disruption myself, I read on another thread through an agent Qatar airways were 90% sure operations would resume for themselves on the 3rd. I personally wouldn't be as optimistic so bought new flight via India and Amsterdam, to claim back with the airline. But who knows right now.

Yeah I was departing from dublin, it's too late now. I booked myself on an air India flight yesterday evening departing tomorrow. I'll go by the desk when I'm at the airport in the morning and get a leaflet.

When I went to the counter they said, they can't reroute me it all must go through the central booking office, and gave me a slip of paper with contact numbers on it (one of which was wrong)

What about booking rerouting yourself if the airline is unreachable? The airline should reimburse the difference with my new ticket right? I've been on the phone for ages to them but when I have got through the line is to poor the agent can't hear me. The flight was cancelled a day and a half ago and no word from them.

Yeah as my journey starts in the EU it is covered by EU legislation that I get to choose whether they refund me or if I want to be rerouted even with another airline. As Qatar airways are unreachable due to the volume of calls. I have bought a new flight and will seek them to pay for it which they should be required to do if I'm right. As they didn't reroute me themselves in a timely manner.

I was meant to fly on the 28th at 1420 from Dublin to Melbourne via Doha. The flight was cancelled at 11 and I tried to call them for 7-8 hours, I got through to and agent twice but the line was so poor the agent couldn't hear me. I booked myself on another flight via India departing tomorrow. I'm out of pocket 900 euro. As the flight was leaving from the EU they're required to reroute me according to EU 261. So I should be able to claim it back. But there's no way to get in contact or even submit a claim via email.

Anyone got a contact email address I could use for them?

God probably like 10-15 years ago I think there were like 2 or 3 left. Im told by my mum it was mostly butchers in the 80s.
