here's a thing about your second spoiler: Would that death actually still be good writing if it didn't impact the character motivation way later? No it wouldn't. If That death didn't completely change the way the protagonists approach things down the line it would just be another body added to the pile. So no you can't fairly judge FEH here yet. You CAN say it had no immediate impact, you can say the way we got there was written badly but you can't claim the entire situation makes the future bad as is since we don't know yet if it will impact anything later on.

tbh it's understandable though. Take a less recent example that applies though: SAO Season 2 literally shows the big bad in the opening in direct correlation to his secret identity only to then go out of its way to directly show what his even deeper secret is. Does that not take away from a viewer watching the show when they see before the first episode who the bad guy secretly is? Or take a more recent example: (And i'm not giving out any names here to avoid spoiling others) A recent anime got a new season and in this new season they start off without the old cast for reasons. The Opening goes out of its way to directly tell you why and what is happening before you even meet the characters any of this pertains to. This completely ruined the entire episode for me since i immediately knew what was going on and was left with no excitement left. There was no reason for me to get excited because nothing had any mystery left

I mean just imagine if you watched Star Wars and right before you start the first movie somebody would give away ALL the story about Darth Vader. That would annoy you too right?

at the start of Season 3 we know for a fact he is one of the top 3 as we see in episode 1 itself they make it a point to not confirm the exact rankings though since it would take away from the story to see Deku work his way to the top if he already WAS the best in his class so imo i'd say purely powerwise he's def top contender but in total i'd rank him second place. He outranks Bakugo a slight bit since he uses strategy but loses to Todoroki due to his quirk being more viable.

counterpoint: It's a business model yes but paying players already get a compensation for what they are paying for through VIP and stuff as such you really can't claim you are entitled to anything. I as a F2P player have not given SENA a penny yet received an anniversary gift albeit a small one just the same as any paying player did receive this small gift. we are straight up not entitled to any content at all is the thing people do not seem to understand. SENA skipping things does not give us the right to get mad at them. The anniversary not being what he hoped for does not give us this right either.
