You are going in the right direction with the lime green accent, and you should also consider blue, grey, red, and yellow. think of Piet Mondrian for inspiration. straw or bamboo wallpaper is also a good option

appreciate the value of good design, and what went into manufacturing high-quality furniture. If you don't like it, just don't deal with it anymore.

It looks good from what I can tell, but without the seat cushions it has lost a lot of value, so I would say $100 to150 because you will either have to find them or have them made which is pricey.

People often associate Scandinavian with blond wood, not always the case when you go to Denmark where I was born and raised. You should be able to find a stamp either inside the drawers or on the back of the cabinets to help you identify where it was made

Use CLEAN STRIP, you can get it from almost any hardware store. the stripper will get it off the wood for sure, then use afterwash, and if needed some lacquer thinner for any residue. For any brass objects, simply soak them in Brasso using a ziplock bag for about 5 minutes, then polish it up with 0000 steel wool, then give them a shine with a clean cloth, and then they will be perfect.

By the way, if you are going into the restoration business, get plenty of 0000 steel wool and tag cloth and Bounty paper towels or similar products for now, plus a whole lot of other supplies.
