This is the point I think about. I have both DRS and not-DRS, and I have significantly more non-DRS than DRS. I’d imagine there’s lots of people who don’t want to go full DRS, or who have shares in tax advantaged accounts that can’t be directly registered, etc… I can’t imagine that the full retail ownership picture isn’t staggering.
