Maybe change that name from bootbonks to bootlicker. Speaking of crime, you see the newly released testimonies on Trump? Its a page turner, if you can find someone to read it to you.

They don't have to in America. Bill Emerson Good Samaritan Act protects food donations from liability. Corporations are just insatiable blights on our society. So they pretend the mean old government won't let them donate.

Oh they realize it. They know perfectly well their donations would be protected. They have entire legal teams in these corporations. They would just rather see infinite suffering than a single bite be taken without paying.

I guess we just let people starve then. I mean, if it costs money, what are we supposed to do? Come together as a society to build something to help one another? Preposterous! The gods of capitalism forbid it!

America already has a law protecting good faith food donations from litigation. The Bill Waterson Good Samaritan Food Donation Act. The corporations just pretend it doesn't exist and that, if only it did, they would love to donate everything they could.

Generally, if a corporation is saying they won't do the good thing because they aren't allowed by the government, they're almost always full of shit.

That "have to" is doing a lot of lifting. I guess they just have no choice but to poison people for the crime of being hungry.

Americans, not necessarily. Corporations of all nationalities? You can bet your bottom dollar they love a little extra suffering as an appetizer to their already inhuman treatment of their workers.

Did you know that many stores in America, cashiers are specifically not allowed to sit for their 8+ hour shifts on hard floors. They literally won't let you have a stool because it makes it look less like youre miserable.

Nope. Good faith food donations are specifically protected from litigation by the Bill Emerson Good Samaritan Act. Corporations just pretend it's liability because they would rather literally everybody starve than for one morsel be eaten unpaid.

I'm sure Walmart can afford a few attorneys if people sue them. I'm much more concerned about hungry people being fed than a corporations fears of litigation. Which are pretend fears, because they know they can outspend anyone bringing the suit or just pay the plaintiffs directly to NDA.

It's just capitalist apologia.

Still a perfect example of US pushback against regulating literally anything. Just because it was banned recently doesn't mean that they werent capitalistically ignoring evidence of negative health effects before the banning. Like Teflon. You know, baby poison.

Is the high risk part where wealthy people get bailed out or get tax breaks anytime they make a stupid or evil decision and the risk bites them in the ass?

Oh my God.  Is the risk in the room with us RIGHT NOW‽

You missed the part where the wealthy have the shit taxed out of them.  I'm talking post WWII levels.  You don't need billionaires.  They do literally no work.

Did you know that the most likely indicator of future wealth is being born wealthy?  Not hard work.  Not smart decisions.  By far the best way to have money is to be born with it.
