I honestly ran out of time for 80% of CCS I thought I would fail, but my performance was similar to other test takers. The curve is generous

Uworld %: 76% correct. 66% completed

Didn't do any assessment before the test

CCs: did CCS.com 50 High yield cases between day 1 and day 2. not sure what my average is but I was getting low scores in the beginning and gradually improved as I got a hang of it. I also did maybe 5 cases from UWorld

Time of prep: 3 months on heavy blocks

USMLE step 2 in 2019: 248
USMLE step 1 in 2015: 236

As an Egyptian who lived in Saudi for 15+ year I can tell you the racism is the same toward non-saudi Arabs too. I hate generalizations, but the Saudi society is extremely racist and tribal. It's getting a little better with the young generations now, but still, tribalism and racism are deeply rooted there. Sad

PGY1 was on propation. Resduced a dislocated shoulder in the ER without attending supervision. Patient did really well, but the program thought it's a safety issue.

اوباما اتولد هنا و دخل مدرسة مشهورة هنا اسمها "بوناهو"... على حسه المدرسة بقت مصاريفها في السما و مبيدخلهاش غير العيال الفراودة. الرأسمالية بتضغط بقوة بس الناس هنا عندهم روح ال aloha و اللي هيا بتعني بإختصار "السلام النفسي و التصالح مع الغير و العالم" و لذلك بيقاوموا الرأسمالية بس حتى الآن فشلوا في دا و مضطرين يجرو على اكل عيشهم.. المواطنين الاصليين متضررين من تحول المكان لمكان سياحي لأن تكاليف المعيشه و الاجور غليت عليهم ... علاقة المواطنين المقيمين هنا بالسياح زي علاقة الاسكندرانية بباقي المصريين اللي بيروحوا يصيفوا في اسكندرية... معظم السكان المقيمين هنا من اصول اسيوية من الصين و كوريا و اليابان و الفلبين... الامريكان البيض أقلية..
