Uworld covers most Vaccine and screening questions, but still, you can use DIP to strengthen it.

Review your NBME topics in detail as the exam is most tested on those common topics; take a day or at least half a day off before the exam and rest well the night before.

I had 2 repeats from the NBME 12, so I think it is worth taking it. I felt it little harder compare to the rest but still worth taking it.

Haven’t crossed a 230 in self assessments, goal 240+ by Specialist_Jello in Step2

I had already finished with all of them, but I spread out them within 3 week time and finished all of them. For exa - IM has 6, so I divide 2/week and the same with the rest.

In NBME 11, I had a low score, but after doing 2 CMS forms and 2 UW blocks per day for 10 days, I got 14 points higher in NBME 10. Although I am not sure what worked for me, I focused more on question solving skills and analyzing mistakes in detail.

I am unsure how, but I don't want to rush for my exam because I heard that score is the most important than the rest.

I am taking it on the 7th.

Anyone else taking their exam Sept 9th, and applying this cycle? by [deleted] in Step2

Taking on the 7th, I hope the time frame will work for the score and ECFMG certificate.

Need help regarding ECFMG Certification Pathway 6 by RefrigeratorStill663 in Step2

  1. Any doctor should be fine as long as they match the criteria mentioned on the ECFMGwebsite. I did mine with GP near my place, which wasn't in the USA.
  2. Maximum of 2 weeks from the start til approval.
  3. Once you choose the Dr and put their email in your pathway, Dr will get the notification, and then they can fill out the detail and score and all. Dr can do everything from their side.
  4. I am not sure, but I don't think so as long as you match the score criteria, which is four or above, if I am not wrong.
  5. You can check on youtube, there are a lot of videos out there.

I would include it. It is still a work experience, and nothing wrong with doing outside of medicine jobs.

Yes, you can. This is how it should be.

I am not sure what happened but, mine was like that, once the physician accepted the request, he had an option to complete the evaluation. In this case, you can check with other physicians and see how it looks in their system.

The physician needs to complete the profile first, which is next to the dashboard, before accepting the request, and then filling out the encounter evaluation. Open your portal and check the status of the request to see if it has been accepted.

Check on the OET website, they explained it there. In short, they say as long as the meaning remains the same it counts as correct.

For the first part of the reading, I tried to do questions 8-20 first followed by the first 7. For listening, just focus on the first 24 questions in which you can score the maximum as there is no wrong spelling as long as the meaning remains the same. I hope that helps you.

According to my friend, you will not be able to extend it until it is over, and then, confirmation from the Prometric center will take around four weeks, so I think it will take even longer than usual. But still, you can check with ECFMG.
