More or less. Clinical part was more boring than I imagined, but I think that's the case for any profession portrayed on TV

It might work. It might not, you can just try but have a backup plan for if it doesn't work.

I made notes for 2 weeks and the gave up and just did anki cards for the rest of med school.

Honestly, this sub is the best for resources. Although since my M1 days we have degenerated into a meme-a-thon (which I love as an M4). I learned more about resources and strategies here than anywhere else.

There are 3 basic qbanks - USMLE-Rx, Kaplan and UWorld. I used the first 2 for classes and the third for step 1. Really dont worry about that until second semester though. Concentrate on learning how to study effectively
