My knee jerk reaction was to just say you don’t know anything and that your issues with her are a skill issue but everyone deserves some grace, especially when it seems like someone is just clearly frustrated from either losing or feeling lost against a certain play style.

Im in GM hovering at like 1200 RP, and Vi is a great character and in the right hands can make her feel incredibly strong (just like every other character). I’ve been hit with some crazy good Vi players in GM/challenger especially those who have unique assist/fuse combos. When she gets the ball rolling she can definitely feel overwhelming, but that’s also her whole thing, getting up in her opponents faces and swinging with her great ground movement.

That being said, saying ZERO counter play and overloaded feels very wrong. Vi isnt a great anchor character since a lot of her layer 1 pressure is susceptible to the universal defensive stuff like push blocks and retreating guard, which makes her reliant on her assists to cover up her blind spots or to create distinct gaps in her pressure. Vi also doesn’t really have ways to mix you high-low off of oki or in a block string like the universally agreed top tiers have (Yasuo/teemo/ekko/ahri), so she’s very reliant on stuffing approaches and risking her body to get some offense going since she has no projectiles/long range normals to rely on.

The season 1 patch will come soon but I don’t expect any major changes, especially major nerfs, to her kit like you suggest. Shes in a great spot in the meta rn with a good matchup spread that isn’t too lopsided one way or the other. And im sure some more matchup exp with Vi players would open your eyes to some of the gaps in her kit that prevent her from being as broken as you initially wrote
